No lie, voice acting killed the game. I enjoyed reading the script; and it felt so very perfect in Twilight Princess, to see characters mouth the words as you read them. It felt right, and it felt like a Zelda game.

Oh my mistake, they did recolor some of the enemies. And I guess Lynels weren't there. And not all of the shrines are just copies of the same goddamn guardian shrine, only like 40 of them.
They're also adding a challenge dungeon sometime later with 45 rooms full of monsters to kill. The reward will be something that should have been in the base game and that's having the Master Sword stop breaking entirely.
I'm sorry, I haven't touched Breath of the Wild yet. Does the Master Sword actually break, like the Giant's Knife? Is it likely to happen in normal gameplay?

The Master Sword is a decent weapon that gets more powerful when fighting enemies related to Ganon. "Throwing" it shoots a sword beam, but that drains durability. When durability runs out it needs to "recharge" and can't be used at all for ten minutes.
On paper, this reminds me of the tacked-on RPG elements from Zelda II and later on, the CD-i games. Do other swords break?

I compared the Master Sword's durability when normal/amped using Hyrule Castle.
When fighting Guardians or Blight Ganons, Power doubles to 60, and Durability jumps to 200. I still think elemental weapons are the best due to their uses for exploring and puzzle solving.
All weaponry breaks. Only equipment that doesn't is armor.

I thought this game would end up being terribly bland but it's actually a nice podcast companion. The cooking in the game is quite nice, and exploration so far has been alright (though some environment transitions are very abrupt). The controls are a bit weird and climbing can feel clunky at times, though.
Am I just retarded and missing how to jump away from a wall in the direction you want, or can you only drop down or jump up/to the side?
