Suicide

What are some games where you can fucking kill yourself'? The more gruesome or creatjve, the better.

Real life, Satan.

The most creative mass-suicides probably happen in dwarf fortress, but that's probably not what you're looking for.

Hey, it's MY job to take the souls of the lost sons of bitches. Not for me to end my existence, I'm not even alive.

Dragons Dogma will let you kill the shit out of yourself.

...

Elona + lets you hang yourself with a rope, you can curse your equipment and have it murder you slowly or drink your blood, you can overcast spells until you die, you can read magical books improperly and spawn legions of anima to ravage you in an instant, you can sport a critical failure and explode from casting certain types of magic, and you can die of poisoned food, cursed food, cursed healing potions, cursed scrolls of healing or return, and so forth.

Spec Ops: The Line

There's a mod in stalker that can force you to kill yourself if you look at an enemy for too long That is, if the mod ever comes out

I riked it

Borderlands 2 has a suicide side-quest

...

Silent Hill 2

thanks for spoiling, asshole

Well, Satin, you've got Spec Ops: The Line, Mortal Kombat's harakiris, I know Yoshimitsu can stab himself with his sword in Tekken 3, Nier Automata has the now-infamous Self-Destruct move, in Postal 2 you press G to eat a grenade, some of Dead Space's death scenes include Isaac killing himself (you've seen the nailgun gif)…
I'm sure Borderlands or Enter the Gungeon has a gun that shoots you instead of a target and you can kill yourself with a couple of items in Binding of Isaac like the IV Bag, Bomb Jacket, Razor and some other stuff I can't recall off the top of my head.

In water best ending

You can eat broken glass in 7DtD, but you just go "urrgh" and keel over, so no gory extra animation.

Demons, and other souls have certain incentives/penaltys for playing in soul/hollow/dead form. I remember seeing all the suicides in the nexus the first time and wondering wtf was going on. Before learning about world/character tendency. Not exactly killing yourself, but sort of is in some ways.

...

The player character doesn't kill themselves out of boredom, they do it to end the cycle and give real life to their pawn.

the player character doesn't, the player does.

No, it's the player character. Fuck off with your 4th Wall bullshit, nobody likes it and it kills the immersion.

Planescape: Torment lets you do it to solve puzzles and win arguments.

What else are you going to do at that point in the game? You literally have one choice.

It's not even obvious if you're dsp tier retarded.

Wooooow, whodathunk it. Deepest lore!

Okay, MatPat, tell me more.

it's just a theory
you're a faggot

New elochat server fucking when

Too bad funny story generator is not a video game.

You do realize that the entire point of the quest up to Grigori being "generic fantasy" was to fuck with the player and make them think its a normal happy fantasy game before shit got weird, right? This was supposed to happen 1/4 through the game and the rest would be crazy shit on the moon. They wanted to fuck with your expectations like MGS2 and had to stop early because Crapcom execs cut the budget/deadline.

It's entirely reasonable to think that they were going for a 4th wall break in that part too given that there is no evidence that the PC could have known that what they would do would transfer consciousness to their pawn or whatever.

IT'S NOT JUST A THEORY

Karoshi Suicide Salaryman.

A GAAAAYYYYY THEORY

You're not going to dump dragon porn right?

Shit I came to this thread trying to remember the name of that game, thanks for reminding me. Time to go play that shit again.

you dont end the cycle, you join it. The point of you giving life to the pawn is because the only alternative is to make him a dragon or arisen. Interestingly, if you play online you face whoever was last to beat the game in the world after the first cycle.

You know what's even more fun? When retarded ally AI gets you killed.

Enemy Territory.

You can selfkill via key, kill yourself with a grenade in hand, jump down a cliff, vaporize yourself with a panzer, eat your own rifle-nade.

*deathgasp

Any game with grenades. You can find some funny ways to an hero in GTA games though like timing jumping out of a speeding car so our guy smacks into an oncoming car.

...

Fucking this.
90% of the time a new player dies, it's by their own hand.
90% of the time an experienced player dies, it's because the suicide is worth it.

We need a new Postal game

Postal 1 and 2 both do this.

Reminder: The Brine is stronger than God.

Pretty much every game the character can die in, since every deliberate death is technically suicide. Like running into enemies, not fighting back, or jumping off a cliff in a level etc.

In Karateka, you just push left at the start of the game, and you fall down the cliff to your death.

Postal 2 lets you eat a grenade.

Real life my man. How creative can you get? You only get one go though.

Depression Quest

gta 5
It's shit but you can swallow cyanide or shoot yourself in the head.

Mein nikker.

OP said games where you can kill yourself. Not games that make you want to kill yourself.

That's pretty neat.

You have to kill yourself to finish Imscared IIRC

www.adultswim.com/games/web/five-minutes-to-kill-yourself
It is a series.

You can overdose on liquor and sleeping pills in indigo prophecy, aka qte: the game

this what weebs actually believe

I recall a flash game a decade back or so, where you were in some office building and had a time-limit to kill yourself using a variety of things around the office to shave off health-points. Can't remember the name.

This was a good game series.

See right above you.

Fuck, I'm blind. Thanks for the spoonfeed, mate.

...

It has been a while since the last time i watched a video with that.

I don't think you played the game user, I'm talking about what is essentially the last two minutes of a 40 hour game.

Trespasser's weird arm physics actually let you aim the gun at yourself. RTCW has "cyanide" as a bindable control for no real reason, it's basically just typing "kill" into the console. iddqd in Heretic, and 86me and /die in ROTT kill you too.

dying and going to hell is an entire chapter of super meatboy. the boss of that area is a golem thats implied to be made of your previous deaths.
though i suppose that doesnt really count as killing yourself, does it?

in borderlands 2, at some point jack gives you a mission. the objective? kill yourself. he will pay you to kill yourself, and theres plenty of lava and shit around to accomplish this. if you do it, you respawn as normal and he (and perhaps you) has a laugh at your characters expense. congratulations.

No More Room In Hell lets you blow your brains out if you get infected.

That assumes you have ammo of course.

One of the better endings in The Stanley Parable gives you the option to watch a psychedelic light show forever or throw yourself off a catwalk to restart the game.

Is that game any good on PC? I like the aesthetics of the setting, but from what I understand the htoL#NiQ port was absolutely broken.

Plus, yknow… NISA.
