All you faggots played shitty games.

Here's how the movie ends.

Attached: frank.png (857x51, 5.82K)

Holy shit this better be fake.

The book was released in 2011, so quite a few of these references were added specifically for the movie.

I Don't REMEMBER THAT

Honestly, I'm pretty surprised there are NiGHTS and Dino Crisis references in there.
I also have to ask if they have the rights to even 15% of those characters.

thanks

So I'm guessing 90% of this movie will be boring bullshit and all the scenes from the trailer are from the last 10 minutes?

Even then, it has minimal presence compared to the EBIN Overwatch cameos listed right next to it.

It looks like there's 2 major fight scenes skimming through this list, assuming whatever the fuck the Oasis is doesn't count as another fight.

The lit club reference seems even more embarrassing personally.

They forgot to include the best fucking character

What did he mean by this?

Neon Genesis reference, does that confirm a real release of the classics?

They licensed everything, which really makes me wonder what the fuck the Japanese companies were thinking when some American studio came asking to use one of their characters.

Holy fuck, what a trainwreck.

We have to make a movie night out of this. It can be our Kung Pow.

Never have I seen more clearly the difference between a love letter to fans and a soulless cash-in than this week in which we are given both the first trailer to a new Smash Brothers game, and this.

"I must apologize for Ready Player One, he is an idiot. We have purposely made him wrong, as a joke".

They claimed the budget was $175 million, but they probably didn't include licensing fees in there because it would be several times larger.

I fucking bet.

Actually, I'm going to go one even further. Wreck it Ralph was acceptable as a love letter to fans. It even made good use of its references, like Sonic being the one giving PSAs and subway graffiti saying what would be a controversial statement in-universe ("AERITH LIVES").

This is just Bazinga: The Movie.

Have any of you read the book? It's actually kinda weird, it's almost like Victor Pelevin book at times. From the trailers they seem to have completely removed all of the book's stranger elements and made it a big pop culture orgy.

The book isn't the most accessible piece of literature out there but I wouldn't compare it to fucking Victor Pelevin's works. There are points where the book a bit strange but nothing comes close to anything you'd see in S.N.U.F.F. or Omon Ra.

I know wtf! No call of duty or fifa >:(

More than the FNAF one?

Do you not know who the metatron is?

...

Omon Ra is one of his less strange works, I was thinking of something more alone the lines of Chisla with all the weird random pop culture references.
Granted, there's nothing as strange as Putin watching Shrek porn in Ready Player One but it gives the same type of vibe.

you remember Pacman and Space Invaders?

nigga you old

At least that actually has a somewhat organic popularity. Literature club is 100% pure astroturf and the fact it's in this, assuming the list is even real of course, is definitive proof of this.

His name is Mettaton, not Metatron.

Literature Club as in Doki Doki, or something else?

Yes.

What the fuck is your definition of astroturf?

You're delusional if you think that game wasn't shilled everywhere immediately on release.

You're delusional if you think I'm not going to require proof.

Why

kek

You can just smell the contract that was made a month before it was an obvious flop.

This guy.

That's why they tell you.
But we both know that 1. the shilling was too massive to be random and 2. the second game will make lots of money because of this marketing.
If anything, literature club was made by someone who wanted the money of the katawa shoujo audience.

None of that means shilled. It means it got popular fast because it was immediately accessible. Also, it's not uncommon for dating sims to offer that warning, because many plot routes deal with the abuse a potential waifu has suffered in the past.

Also.

Literally nothing you've alleged even makes sense, nevermind has anything substantiating them. You just hate things that got popular too fast and equate sudden popular interest with paid astroturfing. Believe it or not, people want to talk about things they're currently interested in.

DDLC was abrupt, but it was an organic abrupt.

SingleSnatisfact.jpg

It wasn't random anyways. It was an open gate that people were allowed to rush through, which generated spontaneous interest. Nobody in the West seems to get what kind of immediate participation a free pass and easy access to a simple but sticky hook generates overnight. Entire fan-economies crop up on the principle in the East, with doujin markets the size of Wal-Marts.

You're just used to never hearing about something unless it comes in a big AAA trailer announcement or cultural subterfuge.

The Literature Club listing isn't for Doki Doki. The characters it names are not DDLC characters.

A lot of the entries look fake. Take the Warcraft 3 one for instance, which is a pretty infamous Holla Forums greentext shitpost.

I'm sure Pewdiepie appreciates that check you wrote him fellow organic weeb.

This is getting progressively dumber.

remember when movies were good? me neither

...

good, my favorite dead and forgotten franchise can stay dead and forgotten unlike Silent Hill which is now stuck in pachinko purgatory

The Lobster was a fucking masterpiece

t. hipster

I don't know what that means. Its popularty was largely due to being free and in English.

I am watching this this weekend.

...

You better catch the new Rick and Morty episode while you're at it or your alimony payments will double.

I am seeing it with friends, not out of my free will. I do like Rick and Morty though.

WTF I hate video games now.

2/10 got me to read the list. Try harder next time, you psuedo-geek pretendo faggots.

Attached: Pokemon XD - Gale of Darkness (2)

So, this is just 3D Imagination Land.

Yeah. I don't think Wreck-It Ralph went this full-blown with inconsequential references. Then again, that sequel movie looks like it's going the Emoji movie way.

Attached: Eternal Suffering.webm (1280x720, 13.52M)

Now this is kino

That's the ready player one references

I guess he just meant that the list didn't hit him as hard as could have?

I just had the greatest idea. Imagine a bazinga movie full of references, only they're wrong or modified in an unpleasant way that keeps triggering your reality check sense. Nerds would literally become schizophrenic as they watch.

Perfect.

a faithful adaptation of Captain N should do the trick

stop complaining, we now have a handy list to prove which things are reddit and which are not. glad GSH escaped unscathed.

Is there a metal slug or a silent hill reference.

No

Good.

It's insane that mudslimes are allowed to kill whomever they want, but I'm not allowed to track down and curbstomp this faggot.
