As much as I love Kamiya he needs to stay the fuck away from DMC.

I'm not sure if I want a DMCXBayonetta game. I would want it for how fun the Story could be, but Dante might just end up playing like Bayonetta just like how every other action game platinum makes plays like Bayonetta.
And the Day Dante does a QTE is the day I kill myself. Even Ninja Theroy knew not to do QTE's in DmC.

Kamiya can make Viewtiful Joe 3 or Okami 2 that would be cool.

Even though my heart would explode if it were to happen, the chances of fucking it up are far greater than it being successful, especially if Platinum were in charge.
They could put in a cameo or something, no real need for an actual crossover.

I don't think DMC 5 will ever happen. Itsuno seems like he wants to move on and it sounds like that 1970's cop show meets fantasy magic and sorcery open world game that was leaked is going to be his latest game. Capcom will probably have that, the Lost Planet Reboot and MvCi at E3. Uncle Dante will likely live on in cross overs and Donte has been taken out back and shot at this point but DMC 5 doesn't seem like its going to happen any time soon.

Will probably be a while before Platinum announce anything as well. Granblue seems like the only title they will have and it's probably going to come west after Nier. Kamiya's team, not sure. It seems more and more that Scalebound was a case of the game being bad or not being technologically capable because there hasn't been any moves to buy the IP by Platinum or get another publisher. I'd imagine if Platinum was convinced it was good and MS was wrong, they would have lobbied for it and Kamiya would have let his feelings known. Phil Spencer said on a podcast last week week that they thought working with Kamiya was great and if the opportunity came up again to work with Platinum he would do it in a "Heartbeat" so it didn't seem like it was a bad blood decision (If Spencer was PR-ing I'd imagine Kamiya would have said it eloquently on twitter that he was full of shit as well).

It will probably be a long time before we see Kamiya's next game so it's likely just Nier and Granblue for now. Maybe at TGS.

No. I know MS "interfered" with it cause I'm not stupid and that's what a publisher does. Nintendo "Interfered" with Bayonetta 2 and W101 as well as Nintendo was the ones who heavily leaned on Plat to do touch screen controls for W101 while Kamiya only wanted to do 2nd screen puzzles. Nintendo won out because they had both options in the final game even though the touch screen was unreliable as fuck.

Every publisher or 1st party with a financial stake does it. MS are no different but people want to make Scalebound into some "Evil M$ screwed based Platinum" story on a game they were shitting on anyway when there hasn't been any indication of a bitter split and god knows what Kamiyas team will do next (Likely Nintendo related)

And DMC 5 isn't happening. Capcom's moved on. Itsuno's moved on and his new game sounds really interesting if the 70's Cop meets magic is his game. Ruben and Dan work for Capcom regularly for Mocap on all games. Uncle Dante saved the world, got the girls and is enjoying a hot pepperoni and can go get crazy in the new Marvel game.

Scalebound originally started as a single player character action game and around a year in development Microsoft got cold feet and decided the game had to have some kind of online multiplayer. This caused the first delay and Kamiya's team struggled to implement the online co-op and make it work. We also know that Kamiya and Microsoft were constantly at each others throats over graphics and frame rate. Kamiya wanted to tone down the visuals and get the game running at 60 fps and Microsoft wouldn't allow it.
what? Kamiya and the microsoft producer both took a month of mid-development before the game was cancelled because they were fighting so much. There was nothing amicable about there relationship, it's just PR and both sides trying to save face at this point (Microsoft knows a lot of people are angry about Scalebound, and Kamiya doesn't want to appear like a sore loser and burn anymore bridges than he already has).
