They're really not comparable to the PC games at all but they are fun arcadey third person shooters.

They're very fun arcade style third person shooters. If you want a more mech simulator style game, play steel battalion on the xbox - although the complete controller is difficult to find for a good price. It is easily the best game of the genre.
