I'm going to assume you're using the latest drivers.

Because nVidia retires their legacy code that's older than 2 generations, I would suggest you go with a driver from before the 1000 series came out (thus being 900/700 series; there is no 800 series). But that said, your issue might be a software incompatibility between Win7 (a deprecated and defunct OS) and the latest nVidia drivers. nVidia like most companies will update their shit to use the latest versions of things like .net Framework, and there's versions of .net that require Win10 (possibly might work on Win8.1 as well).

I don't really agree with that term, life isn't a zero sum game. Besides, to find the drivers I had to look for the alternative driver lookup search. In the next 4 updates those drivers will get pushed off THAT list, and then I'll have to find another means to look up drivers for the 700 series. As it is, I have to use alternative means to look up drivers for 600/500/400/et al. Thankfully there's not a lot of people using hardware that old around here.

Odd, searching for ' steamshim.exe ' under C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam, there is one file named that with in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\downloading\420530. However, LockHunter says nothing's keeping it locked down. Same for the oneshot.exe that's there as well.

The armor scores works different than any nu-rpg. Weapon speed matter, curses are more serious than in nu-rpgs, don't let your party break or be prepare for the most anoying monologue when you try to leave the map, etc…

I checked out the difference in armor scores (I'm very familiar with KoTOR, and as I understand it's the opposite of that: lower the score the better). I'll keep in mind weapon speed, I was noticing as I specialized in Long Swords that you can get extra attacks per-turn so I figured that would be a pretty big deal. I've got a guide in case I get lost or things get harry but I've been checking it out regularly just to make sure I'm not totally fucking myself. Main thing I'm doing is saving a shit load so I can reload if I fuck things up which is always a good idea for this genre.
