A dev on reddit said it'll probably be weeks, not days if they get it working at all. I'm definitely keeping my fingers crossed that there won't be any major bugs and they won't go full kike over such a big release because if so it will easily be the definitive version of the game.

I understand emulator development is tricky work, but I'm too cynical to believe anything other than that they want to kike their patrons out of more shekels before they give up the goods. I've noticed as well, it's one of my biggest criticisms so far. I was so disappointed by the lack of anything but guardians at Hyrule Castle in particular. There's like 3 Lizalfos, 2 moblins and 1 lynel among a legion of guardians and that's fucking it. No Iron Knuckle or anything.

Breath of the Wild works better on Wii U than it does the shitty new Switch. Switch bounces around 20 to 35 fps whereas the Wii U is steady 30.

that's not true. botw basically performs the same as docked mode for Switch. the smoothest performer is Switch but in undocked mode

Don't lie to the poor guy, it dips into the teens in the first 5 minutes of the game right as you start walking down that first big hill. Funnily enough I've seen the worst dips in the tutorial area and nowhere else though.

theory is that BOTW on wii u is just dealing with old hardware problems and docked Switch has a streaming issue. portable mode has no issues for some reason

I can't imagine crafting would a part of the game without an explanation of it, so maybe you're just not up to that part of the game yet?

As far as I'm awake, they're not used for crafting, they're used for upgrading armor. Complete the quest for the painter in Kakariko to access the first Great Fairy Fountain, she upgrades your armor pieces using monster parts. The only place I've found that allows you to craft weapons is Robbie and that's only for Guardian parts.

You use gems to make elemental weapons from what I recall.

Each of the towns with a Divine beasts have a local blacksmith that can remake the Champion gear you get after freeing the beast when it inevitably breaks.

I'm sure they'll eventually patch in some unbreakable weapons as DLC
