Exercising while playing vidya

Any ideas how to do it? I've heard some do the bike or treadmill while playing vidya, but I want to hear more ideas. Does standing instead of sitting while playing make a big difference?

Why you need vidya so much, you can't exercise without playing it? You are so addicted to vidya 24/7 you can't make up 2 hours for workout? Or at least 1 hour?

My brother set up his computer to only work when he was using his stair-master. A month later he needed to have surgery on his knee for destroying the cartilage. Something like an exercise bike would probably be good, but be careful about oyur joint.

I can never sit up straight for any period of time.

Talking about it, i remember playing initial d on real arcade was really exhausting. The wheel was tough as fuck. Maybe getting good pedals and wheel for arcade racing would make your body move a little more while sitting, instead of using joystick.

The worst part about sitting is the way your lumbar spine is straightened, even if you have good posture. There's a few ways to avoid it like assuming the japanese seiza, but it can be bad for your knees and circulation.

You can do it while watching gameplay videos. Speedruns are good for this as they can get pretty damn long. I've tried biking while playing but it just gets in the way, really.

Have you actually ever exercised in your life? The media you can consume has to be mostly sound based, you can't dedicate more of your brain to anything when you are focused on a physical activity. Even running you want to maintain a focused state to better keep a pace. There's no way you're going to be playing video games.

To be fair, working out is fucking boring and repetitive. I'd recommend watching a movie while doing it.

Squat; it is a natural resting pose for a human body whilst doing something with your hands. If done properly it can greatly improve your body architecture. The only downside is that you may appear as an indian street shitter to an observer.

I recommend a standing desk OP, your legs will get a workout and you can focus on your vidya at the same time
