Speaking as someone from Northern Ireland, my biggest worries about a Troubles game would be them getting our accent wrong and having a bias in favour of the IRA as Americans tend to have. Other than that I think it could be a really cool setting for a shooter.

Best NI accent I've heard in a game is probably William in Nioh, whose voice actor is from Belfast, I believe. Ubisoft have done characters from here before (namely Aidan from Watch Dogs) but you probably wouldn't be able to tell since they just give him an American accent.

SA80, HK G36 and ACR all based on the AR-18 platform. Hell g36 is just a AR-18 with lot more breathing room for parts and polymer.

The .223 is under powered, has poor barrier penetration, and its only positive side is its half the weight of .308. Its also less reliable in adverse conditions aswell as being unable to have a folding rear stock. Aswell as the fact that if you use a suppressor with a DI gun it gunks up something terrible.

Also traditional rifles are a thing of the past, bullpups are the future of warfare. I would rather have a famas or tavor than an AR when going into a building or going through brush.

HK416 had alot of issues in term of longevity last I heard of it, idk if they fixed that issue but theres better designs these days anyway. Tavor is a very nice piece of kit our kike friends have come up with. Its a shame USA is stuck using an old design.

It's L85. SA80 is the family of rifles. Also the L85A1 was an absolutely abhorrent rifle that got upgraded into the far superior A2 variant, thanks to H&K. It still doesn't change the fact that it's about as heavy as the L1A1, which is fucking risible considering the L1A1 fires 7,62 NATO.
The G36 is apparently decent mechanically, but the polymer is terrible and prone to melting. There's also some reliability problems with it but apparently they're more because of the plastic used rather than the mechanism itself.

Korean War would literally be Allies Vs Soviets. Also the Korean War was beyond brutal to the extent it wasn't uncommon for an entire Battalion to be wiped out, like literally 90-99% causalities. If you are wondering why there are so few Divisions from WW2 in service today, the Korean War is why.
Then there is the weather, there were units that survived the Battle of the Bulge, the Korean Winter literally broke them.
