/fgg/ - Fighting Game General: Your main will never not be garbage tier Edition

I'm the user that asked about fightsticks at the tail end of the last thread and using those charts and shit I got a Hori Rap 4 and I slapped in an octagonal gate and sanwa buttons and shit handles like butter but now I have a whole other question.
In Fightcade I map the directions to the cardinal directions on the stick but it's really hard to play since it can only map up down left and right. Do I have to just deal with it or is there a fightstick friendly option I was too retarded to see?

Swap Botan and Hinako for Ash and Malin for true triggering power.

Can't you map diagonals too? Or does fightcade not support that? I know MAME does.

There is no option to play 1v1 an no way to choose between the original arcade soundtrack and the arranged soundtrack in the HD version, but the graphics are better, so it's your choice.

But why would you need to map diagonals? If you just press a diagonal direction it should work just like that
