All of the special attacks are pretty cool its a real shame that I never used the carnage form or whatever and thus never saw them. Half because I never needed to and then completely forgot about it, half because it would mean going walking melee instead of just blasting things.

Yeah, you also take more damage when in it which makes it especially useless on harder difficulties
However in Ties That Bind you are forced to use it due to the metal versions of monsters that can only be killed by the "monster" form

I remember that part being hard as fuck in the maximum difficulty setting. Ended up being stuck there for a week or two.

that volafile is nice, but
1. are there any viruses? did anyone check the .exes for spyware?
2. 1 download would take me 5-6 hours, but the link expires tomorrow. what's up with that?

These are all from the May 16th trove dump, straight from GOG in the same torrent I just posted a little ways down. If you don't trust GOG exes that's your call, volafile has a time limit for downloads starting at 4 days. I believe that it won't expire in the middle of downloading.
