You're not that impressive. I beat BL2 (with a friend) the Pirate DLC (which was actually alright) with Gaige and Kreig (Both of which are the best characters).

Beat Pre-memequel solo and though it was leagues better then 2. The low-grav stuff is neat (though early game oxygen is annoying due to not having a lot, but there's so many vents it's pointless.) The RNG is better (though only because they finally threw in a Horadric Cube ripoff that you can force to give you the "best" option). And while it was a glitch for initial release, being invincible for the last bit of the game and soloing the raidboss was fun.

Borderlands's writing was awful before Anthony Burch got involved. And the fact that almost all of the equipment in the game was randomly generated, and the selling point was "millions" or billions or whatever of guns as a result, it was a pretty shite lazy design where the first level 10 boss yielded better gear than many of the level 25 bosses. And instead of designing a well-made game that progressively gets more difficult, they instead use bullet sponge difficulties as the "hard difficulties" where they just fuck up the numbers to ridiculous size and scale to make it "hard." When difficulty is just a scale of numbers, you're basically playing a Bethesda game. Look at Oblivion for example, max difficulty is 5X NPC damage, 1/5th player damage, all NPCs gain 10X hp, and the player can't crit but NPCs have huge crit chance. The whole point was to force the player to focus on armor skills and alchemy, but it also made the tutorial area nearly impossible to complete.

Except Borderlands doesn't have an alchemy or armor skill, and it boiled down to relying on the player skill button.
