Hall of fame roguecentric module

I'm sure bioware would be proud.

Also feel free to ignore my faggotry and recommend some actually good modules for NWN 1/2.

Only played one for NWN1, Darkness Over Daggerford, but I quite enjoyed it.
It was originally gonna be a paid expansion, but it got axed, and the devs said fuck it and finished anyways and released it for free.
Ending felt a little rushed, like the final boss just kinda comes outta nowhere and then it's over. It as well was fairly easy, though I was playing a rather high damage build so might have just been me.
Has a lot of sidequests though, which was the real meat of the game, and I liked pretty much all that I played.
Been meaning to play it, but I've heard good things about The Aielund Saga, I just haven't gotten around to it since it's split into three different downloads, with a bunch of other side downloads needed to play.

Don't remember the community but there was a great set of RP multiplayer servers based on the forgotten realms. There was a server just for the capital city, one that had everything outside the capital, and one for the underdark.

Oh, and another cool thing Darkness has is a map select thing, kinda like NWN2 and Dragon Age Origins, so there's quite a few areas to explore at your own pace.

That mod lets you choose to be cuckolded as well, and if your constitution score and discipline skill is low your wife will make fun of your tiny dick and inability to please her. Truly a mod made by a degenerate.

Honour among Thieves is good, Book of Shaddowe was somewhat decent, heard good things about Swordflight.

Also, Almraiven and Shadewood are very unqiue and well done mage mods.

Sounds interesting. Do you by any chance remember if undead or constructs feature a lot?

You're joking? I saw the checks but I assumed your wounds open or she takes charge or something. Damn, I'm almost tempted to try this shit without fighter levels just to see how much of a bullet I dodged and no, it doesn't let you choose jack or shit. What do you suppose was the final straw anyway?

Uhh, I remember a little bit of undead, not a whole lot though, I know in the random encounters during map transitions there are some.
I remember mostly just humanoid races and like orcs, ogre, trolls, demons.
Don't remember any constructs though.

No joke, she cucks you (you can follow and watch) if you agree to let her after choosing to sit back and watch during the homecoming from Betancuria lesbian scene, makes fun of you while comparing you to other men and all kinds of crazy stuff. To be fair you have to choose to go down that route but there's like a hell of a lot more content for cucks than for the vanilla path since many of the scenes are submitted to the author and I guess the cuck fetishists write far more.

just go download aielund already
each download will also give you a file for the next download, so you'd end up downloading each module except the first one twice, as far as you might think
what you really download when you download a mod is the module you're trying to get AND the placeholder module for the next one; so when the computer asks you which file you want to keep, keep the bigger one

Im having 3D custom maid 2 flashbacks

aielund is a good mod imo
you go from level 1 to 36(at least without multiclassing), theres sidequests, and the story, imo is good, barring the tomboy warrior princess thing and 1 conversation and its options, and an enemy description, both in the first mod
at one point, you
SPOILER

get to team up with angels from the plane of assumption and an overpowered artificial storm elemental controlled by one of them to fight a gigantic devil that was so bad that it got kicked out of hell, and seeked with its draconic disciples to invade the prime material plane and make it its default plane of existence at the same time
and thats not even the final dungeon

I'm only asking because I'm trying to break out of DEX based builds.

I was into second night with Taris and between the dreamshit and her apparently spreading legs for half the docks because no reasons given made me go oh hell no. Suppose guess it goes to show it how you either go chad or eventually end up a burch.

It's on the list already.

I played a greatsword Fighter/weaponmaster for it, and it ended up working out really damn well.
Since there's a fucking +1 keen greatsword in the first town, I was a critting monster.
Also, another thing to note, you start at level 8 and I ended around like 15-16 I think.

My god, why is this game such a pain to alt tab out?

Think if you don't cheat on her, have a high relationship score, and don't take Taris with you those dreams are proven to be false when you get back, otherwise they are real.

That rather makes it even worse, doesn't it? She being a strong, sexually healthy wymin whore is mostly on her but your character fantasizing her being plowed by sailor fabio is an entirely different kind of libshit.

I had a scythe weaponmaster back in OC so I can imagine.

Yep, and don't forget she's always a closeted ex-lesbian who can beat any man in a sword fight while naked. Ahh, flashbacks of Imoen's constant speeches about women having a stronger sex drive than men (lol) are coming to me. Or how, after she creates a Temple designed to turn the women of the city into a cult of whores, the only men that show up there are fags. It's so over the top I almost felt like it's a parody of a liberal dystopia.

Oh yeah, Bastard of Kosigan series is good.

Anyone know where to get some good portraits? The default ones are hit or miss for me.

You know, the first time I saw that picture I was fuck, you expect a conch to protect you but on second thought that shit counts as +5 at the very least against pussy grabs.

How is the mod called? Asking for a friend

dance with spies,
but dance with rouges is better.
Actually just go to neverwintervault and sort by the 'adult' tag

Thanks fam

Personally I tried that and Dance with Rogues is still the only one worth playing if you're looking for decent smut. The couple others that show promise are either too short/linear ie Kunoichi or Wink and Kiss, too weird ie Demonheart or not particularly good ie Gladiatrix.

Arandie was interesting but I feel like I jumped in the middle of a trilogy of something. And still no dark ascension tier male protagonist story

I am playing through the original campaign right now, having never gone beyond chapter 1 before in all these years. I am actually quite enjoying myself. Rolled an elven wizard, and I was astounded at how good of an early fighter a wizard makes. Flame weapon, greater magic weapon, a million defensive buffs makes you into a 20+ AC almost magically impervious melee machine until mid-end Chapter 2. However, I am now at the beginning of Chapter 3, and I've started noticing that my attack bonus of +11/+6 (with a +1 sword and greater magic weapon) cannot quite get through AC of many creatures and especially humanoids. I am now starting to regret taking weapon specialization in longswords. Melee will also probably be completely useless in level 20+ areas.

There's nothing stopping you from playing epic gish. In fact once you reach the point where you can reliably cast a ton of premonition, true strike, haste, improved invisibility and more he'll be pretty effective and much less boring than a weaponmaster. Also bear in mind that while the AC is capped the attack bonus technically isn't, so DR and SR really come into play at those levels.

Few things though, I don't know how many fighter levels you took but you're looking for at least four before level 20 (BaB). And if you're going mostly melee wizard you could've used those few extra feats for dual wield related, finesse, expertise or such.

I didn't dual class at all. I just found early game spells to be really lackluster for damage dealing, so I figured I'd go with buffs and melee for a while. I turned out to rely on those to a ridiculous extent, even now that I am level 14, have fireball, ice storm, isaac's greater magic missiles, greater dispel/breach, bigby's hands etc. And yes, I use improved invis, and also shadow shield for that 10/+3 soak, as well as immunity to all kinds of necro shit. I have like 4 fireballs, 5 ice storms, 3 greater missiles attuned, but find out I only use those in really tough battles where I am either outmatched in melee, or against some annoying wizards that have improved invis on their own - I can't stand whiffing against 50% concealement. I also don't have true strike or premonition (yet), but I did buy boots of speed in chapter 3, so I am permanently hasted.

I was thinking of taking some fighter levels, but at this stage I feel like I will be spreading out my build too thin. I hope it's not too late to specialize in spellcasting yet.

Multiclass* and you had to for weapon specialization since that's a fighter exclusive bonus feat. On the bright side having weapon focus ensures you find more of said weapon in loot.

Fighter levels provide for three things: a bunch of free proficiencies and bonus feats, some early game HP padding and more importantly great early base attack growth. Larger BaB = more attacks per round. You could also take cleric levels for defensive if really buff dependent builds, war domain in particular.

A different interesting combo is ranger since you get dual wield, ambidexterity and decent sneak while in arcane caster friendly light armor. Interestingly enough it was possible to have two pets at one point, one wizard and one ranger panther each with their own sneak attack.

A blind-fighter weaponmaster will also swear at that but he generally doesn't have access to his own concealment or AoE effects that bypass it or dispel it. If you want truly annoying builds think epic level rogue with improved evasion and permanent concealment using improved expertise. Naturally the little shit also has levels in shadowdancer.

Shit, did I say weapon specialization? I meant weapon focus, I'm a retard.

Make your own.

Any good NWN2 modules?

By that I meant find pictures online and convert them, not drawing them yourself.

Wizards in 3rd ed are absurdly overpowered, nwn being no exception, but I'm fine with it since the melee classes tend to be boredom incarnate. Pic related is my wizard and party fully buffed at the end of SotU+HotU. With the rapid reload feat he can slaughter the trash mobs without wasting a spell. I also picked up shapechange purely because I though having 2 red dragons at my disposal would be cool, but he goes down in seconds in dragon form while he's basically invincible normally. You also get the fairy, which is basically Garrett in a small female body with wings on. I honestly struggle to play other classes in custom modules unless they have strict resting restrictions, but I hated Swordflight's hours and hours of inventory juggling and Aielund didn't install properly for me and I'm in no mood to try again yet.

Any recommendations for a good story/diplomacy focused module?

It's fine user, I went from full BG2 mindset to pvp server bannable munchkin after a NWN binge around December. But yeah, a melee caster is great fun since you're flexible enough to supplement shit stats with all kinds of buffs and effects.

My favorite build is probably a rogue/sorcerer/blackguard. Sure, you don't have as many or as high leveled spells as a wizard or some of the unbelievable stats a red dragon would have but being able to repeatedly pull a certain lifesaver out of the ass is unmatched. You've got a godly AC, some ungodly saves and exotic proficiency + double bull's strength + epic level sneak attack put just about any weapon to great effect. You can even get some spare feats for fancy tricks like called shot, use turn undead for AC/damage, improved cleave or improved critical.

Nothing wrong with some editing.

if you're gonna be a wizard/fighter/wm you're gonna want at least 2 fighter levels if you want 3 base attacks per round, or at least 12 fighter+WM levels if you want 4 attacks per round, in both cases pre-epic levels

when you compare a level 40 NWN wizard to a level 40 NWN melee attacker with a good build and a weapon thats at least +5 enhancement bonus, keen and some +2d6 damage flare, then wizards are underpowered in comparison

wizards are gonna do at the most 490 damage per round barring empowered greater missile storms that roll high alot, which you only get so many of, and meanwhile melee builds are easily gonna pull over 500 damage per round EVERY round that they're attacking

what is overpowered are these in NWN1:
pale master's bone skin feat
arcane archers' enchant arrow feat
weapon master's epic superior weapon focus
clerics, especially with 7 WM levels
devastating critical
those are by far the worst offenders, wizards aren't even up there

all wizards are good for in online play when they aren't tanking with epic dodge and high AC is wail of the banshee, bigby's crushing hand, weird, flesh to stone, and the occasional flame arrows and missile storms against enemies that have high physical damage resistance/reduction/immunity; often a wizard in multiplayer is just gonna sit around waiting to be useful, sometimes with greater sanctuary up

also, in HotU, i'm not even sure if you can beat the final boss at all as a pure or near-pure caster that isn't a a druid with a monk level or a cleric

you wont get past level 14 in NWN1's OC i think

It goes higher son.

Wut?

Time stop, mordenkainens disjunction, then stack horrible wilting and all the isaacs greater and lesser missiles storms, all three of which are spells that cannot be saved or evaded. When time resumes the boss will be dead.

So here's my wizard so far. Not sure where to take it from here.

a monk's spell resistance from diamond soul will not be lowered by breached, mords, or nature's balance, and i think the final boss may be a monk
it also has very high spell resistance, iirc

if you're already level 14 you'll be beating the game soon; just make with what skills and such you got
SoU is to be done with a different character, and HotU is the sequel to SoU, not the OC

I found that 4 works best with what I have in mind, especially if I want to get dagger or short sword specialization. And for those fags saying weapon spec sucks those ~16 unmodified damage per round add up and then some.

Couple of things.

Being a specialist necromancer bars you from true strike and premonition, which is a real shame for a gish character. Unlike good or evil neutral alignment bars you from some really nice items. Create wand is some kind of effective especially when coupled with XP farming methods such as certain spells. More dexterity with weapon finesse and possibly rapier improved critical are something else for a character that already has a higher base dexterity, daggers or shortswords are arguably as good if not better since you can dualwield them. Familiar dying won't incur any permanent stat loss. Some discipline will come in handy when every other fucking drow carries a whip. Focus longbow is a waste if you're not using it.

You for real?

Apparently autism is detrimental to niche threads health. Apologies.
