Unanswered Questions about the Switch: 72 HOURS REMAIN

(Or more hours, or less, depending)

First, some basic shit that's widely known by now:
>The hardware bundle has the core 'screen', two joycons, a charging dock with video / power cables, and a plastic 'gamepad' grip for the joycons.
>There's no pack-in or pre-installed games, and you need the launch-day OS update to access eShop, account linking and image uploading.
>The system is not region-locked, and you can access any region's eShop (though this requires multiple Nintendo Accounts, like on PSN).
>The in-built NAND storage capacity is 32GB, of which 6GB is reserved for OS updates. For extra storage, you need a microSD or microSDXC card.
>The core system has a portable battery life of 2.5 to 6 hours when not in Sleep Mode, depending on the game. Joycons run for 20 hours at full charge.
>There'll be a monthly fee to play online after the first few months. Subscribers get vague benefits like 'voice chat' and 'VC game rentals'.

Then, some extra shit that turned up in leaks and interviews, or took a long time to be confirmed:
>Day One exclusive retail games are Zelda, 1-2-Switch, and Super Bomberman R; the rest are ports and multiplats like Just Dance.
>Meanwhile in Japan, they'll have extra Day One 'exclusives' like Disgea 5 Complete and a NeoGeo game compilation.
>Day One exclusive download-only games are Snipperclips, FAST RMX (Wii U port with exclusive extras), and Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment (as a timed exclusive).
>Along with some ports, Japan's eShop will launch with new exclusives like Blaster Master Zero.
>Apart from some eShop game called TumbleSeed, and a free multiplayer beta of Splatoon 2, everything else in March is a port, or only in Japan, or both.
>Every game cartridge for the Switch is read-only; save files are stored on the system memory by default. Everything else defaults to microSD, if available.

With all that said, here's some questions to be asked:
>wherr muffer 3? wherr custum robbo?

Because unlike you, not all of us were molested by our dad and have to come online and take all our frustrations out on a videogame imageboard, user.

Why are you complaining that things are "only in Japan" when it's region-free?

Per your questions:
1. Because they know people will buy it anyways. Wait a month or two and stores will be selling used copies for $10 like they did with Kinect Adventures.
2. You already stated that Splatoon has a demo, so that's 2, which means the functionality exists on the eShop.
3. If you want games installed to an SD card instead of the NAND for whatever reason, the option exists. What's wrong with adding more options?
4. I'm still believing they're going to go back on this before they even launch it, or shortly after. They just seem so half-arsed when they talk about it, like it's not properly thought out. Though, even if they do keep it, it's probably not thought out.
But if they drop it, they look like good guys compared to Sony and MS.
5. They won't do that, as they made Wii U ports and charged you again. Might be something like in-game bonuses for owning past games, or maybe it's just so you can share the eShop funds across the 3 consoles.
6. They have and they will. People keep falling for it. Vouchers aren't that bad, though. Free VC games would be better.
7. NEVAR EVAR

Better than the 3DS, with it's 1.2GB NAND that was 100% taken up by firmware, so you had to get an SD card. Pokemon Sun/Moon took up something like 3.3gb, and they shipped all consoles with 4gb, so a lot of people had to get new ones.

I'll buy one preowned with at least 3 games for $350.
Best option would be buy one soon after launch and never connect it online for muh homebrew.
I'd laugh if they are using something similar to the 3DS's internals and we can use SigHax or someshit. That would make me laugh uncontrollably.

Stop starting console wars you shill/newfag.
All consoles this gen have no gaems, why bother putting one ahead of another?

This is pretty much the same as the Wii U Deluxe which was 32GB while the Wii U Basic was 8GB.

Switch Deluxe when?

I'd put money on them releasing a mini-Switch within a year and a half. The Switch is so bulky you can't take it on a train and play monster Hunter, and that's what Nintendo relies on for shekels.

He isn't complaining that things are "only in Japan", he's pointing that out because you'll probably need to know moonspeak just to play it.
I don't think the Switch will be particularly successful unless we get some good shit to play.
