Real ones? None. All games in English are translated in French. All games in French are translated in English.
It's a mandatory publisher thing, the minimum number of languages for a western game (or in fact even a movie release of any kind) is English and French (because of Canada).
Some weird indy shit sure, but if they sell them they want burger bucks and burgers don't like subtitles so even those are translated.
Most of them are shit, well not shit just your average platformers and mobile games, etc…

Only one I can think off is EXperience 112, which might not be available in English (at least it wasn't when it came out) and not that good of a game (pacing issues) but about the only one worth mentioning.

nah french do not have huge and insane money behind their game but nice ambition.

Jewbisoft games are burger directed, cucknadian programmed, poo developed or outsourced to chinks. French personnel only makes the graphics (and the occasional engine)…

Here are the last games made by the (small) french studio of Jewbisoft.

Yeah. That's the main reason it's worth mentioning, they tried to make the player a protagonist and sort of pulled it out.
It's not great or anything, but it's a good indy dev as in they tried to do something different.

unlike japan france kind of lost its independency and now with EU you bet your ass that all game will be translated (if not directly made) in english.
this ain't japan where they have their typical game like VN or eroge or "fanatism" for a few series. or even a different vision on taboo and gaming in general.

France is pretty much verry EU/US-like , its not that independant even if the government say they are trying to keep it up by funding shitty SJW french movie to "promot french cinematography and culture" that De Gaulle started (De Gaulle would turn 3time on his grave and vomit to what the actual government is doing)

we get and do the same kind of movie but with less money
we concider the same thing as taboo,
we eat the same stuff (well maybe with less grease)
etc ….

Shame, I'd hoped with the constant lowering of the bar for entry into game development there'd be at least a couple decent indie games hidden in France.

but if you go that way: Russian are WAY WAY WAY better in indi porn game (THe last man etc) and they have egemony on game using Quest soft player with one of the biggest being: Girl life who have an english community version.
(well … QSP is a russian engine so it's not that surprising… )

as for french just like many thing:

they get hired by american but you know how US are: they hire them to do a verry specific thing (cf: ubisoft) they do nto have freedom in creating anything even in cinema.
US do this for anyone not american (like Hong kong directors)you will never see a french guy take a 1st role in an english movie.
holowood want yes man even moreso if its a foreign guy. same goes for video game made outside of france.

however the 5th element was great: and its a french movie … sure, again, as you can see: with english cast. But everything else aside from actors is french.

Surprised this game hasn't been posted. For a short review, it's not the best bossrush game, not the best bullethell game and not the best hack and slash game, but it's one of the few games that do all three together, so it's a nice package overall. The music is nice, the voice acting is good(you have a selection of frog, nipon and burger, I played it with frog). The combat is adequate, the only quirky thing being the dodge button. You don't dodge when you press the button, but when you release it, because the longer you hold it down, the farther you go. It might not seem like much, but if you are like me and played a lot of DMC/Bayonetta it would feel counter intuitive. Also worth noting is that the game has only 10 bosses, and nothing more just cutscenes between them to unwind from the previous fight and give you some exposition on the next boss. Oh and there are no upgrades whatsoever in the game, you don't unlock any new abilities, nor do you upgrade the your health or damage, you have to beat the final boss with the same moves you used on the first boss, so it's more skill-oriented.

Okay, so all the games coming out of France are all translated on default, what about games coming out of the African and Asian French speaking countries?

Oh yeah Sang Froid which is a sort of Tower Defense (not really) that's is good.

They also made "Confliks" which isn't good (and is one of those rage inducing games that "could have been" really good if only they dropped some things).

BD is not comics and is thriving quite well.
Comics and mango are subscription based 1 week or 1 month release (which leads to the logorrhea style).
BD are published "when it's done" typically once a year for about the same number of pages for a couple of issue of a comic/manga, insuring quality of storytelling and drawing.
Also since you can't mooch off from subscriptions, it's fairly pricey and an extremely volatile. IE force spooned sudden SJW pandering crap is a sure way to kill your name.

Surprised no one mentioned Amplitude Studios since their games are pretty well known.

why not include Of Orcs and Men, as well? Personally my favorite of anything they've put out.

I wish they'd stop trying to make action RPGs and just went with turn based, isometric and dropped full VA for every character. They obviously have ambition, they just need to budget themselves correctly.
