The first game had an unique setting and a solid soundtrack. Even if there was kinda easy (expect for a few hard places) It was still a really well designed platformer and it still holds up really well today. The only thing i hated about the game was the fact you could not replay levels until you beat the last boss and the fact that if you miss a crystal in 2-3 (that lake boss it is over 10 years since i last played it) you needed to redo the whole level if you want to get all 150 crystals in that stage. That was really dumb. Also since i only played the first game what other games are worth playing (other than Klonoa 2 i really wanted to play that but never got to for some reason)

Freedom Planet is shitloads of fun.

Its Story Mode is super cringy though. Play Classic Mode so you can avoid all of the exposition and awful voice acting.

Plays like a mix of Sonic and Sparkster. Only real gripe about the game is that it doesn't have real momentum. It's like Sonic 06 where you can just start walking up walls without any buildup. That's a very minor thing since the rest of the game is quite good.

Freedom Planet 2's demo just dropped last week as well.

Klonoa was advertised its just not many people bought it because they played Billy Hatcher. Which is actually a truly underatted game and even Katamari Damacy is in this era. Both of those are actually fun to play. The problem with Klonoa is it does not have enough flair to keep it going.
