Unfortunately, Rewritten has slowed down significantly in development and has seen a slowly declining playerbase, and the other private servers are a bit small to effectively play unless you have friends who you can play with at the same time. Or multiple accounts running at the same time.

I don't think PotCO or Pixie Hollow (both shut down in addition to Toontown to focus on Club Penguin) were as lucky.

My nigger. Finished 1-3, don't remember if they released any more. Had to use guides on some obscure puzzles, but otherwise great games.

4 was a one screen april fools joke taking place in college with the main character dying immediately upon doing something.
5 was a full on point and click adventure game that starts with revealing that 2-4 were all simulations and the main characters were all abducted by aliens after the events of 1.
Then there was Transfer and Transfer 2 after that, Transfer taking place at a parody of Area 51 with the scope increased even further beyond 5 and I don't really know much about Transfer 2 aside from it being a massive time leap to everyone being old fucks and having feels apparently.
