I miss the top 25, it was nice to see an new up and coming board and shit post on it. Some times I feel like Holla Forums was wasted potential, some anons would rightly disagree though.

thats because it is family. Fuck being an old fag sucks too, the shit we did back then. When we did IP cam spying on twitch and got the streamer to play hentai in a South Korean Corner Store (most hentai in south korea is illegal) and apparently got the authorities alerted to the corner store. Or the time we bothered the dog and saw a girl dress and get ready. The edmodo raids of 2013~2014ish where we raided kindergarten, middle school, and high school classrooms and posted porn, gore, and hentai. A ton of got banned while other anons sat back and watched it all burn down. There were tons of great things that happened on this site and it unfortunate to see what its become. Some old fags went back to 4chan for discussions and an active community. Others retreated to small groups on Holla Forums keeping to themselves. The community divided into numerous circle jerks or completely dissolved, something im sure none of us wanted to see but unfortunately had to see.

Some things were done wrong, it's not hard to see that. Then again, the changes happened around the time when the site was getting its shit fucked, so the thought isn't there anymore. Can't really get an alternative though until there is a good amount of need to leave. As it stands I don't see a real need to leave, just a need to let fun things get a better chances to flourish. The alternate sites always thrown around were never really good, as it was done usually after big drama or when the problems had already been fixed. Still, I'm kind of saddened that even something as recent as 2014 isn't in some of the minds of anons here. Some don't even know how high the numbers for the most active board used to go to. At least we have the memories.

Sometimes I think its us to blame for not enforcing this as a new place and letting other anons just treat this as " the other chan". It was fun when we got here, we threw the computer monitor up on some milk crates, dusted off some old memes and and throw pillows and tried to make the place home. And when we stretched out we realized we had a lot of space to expand and it was good. I bitch, but as long as I see posters who can embody that spirit I'll be happy. And to see the ones that will understand the random screen cap because they were there as well.
