Tweening is when you animate something in 2D like flash, where you have a start and stop position and then depending on how many frames per second you request it will create or remove how many different positions as needed

When you use encoding software to create entirely new frames to fill in the blanks between two frames (Like this video) its called interpolation, interpolation meaning "Interpreting what will appear between these two frames"

Guy who encoded it here, vp9 profile 1 video and opus audio encoded through ffmpeg's wrapper around libvpx. I used some experimental encoder flags when making the webm to get better video quality. It's possible that some decoders are incomplete or untested and don't play well with what i did

Most webms have the same codec by now, assuming anons are using vp9. Although they tend to be profile 0 (8-bit color with 4:2:0 chroma subsampling) instead of profile 1 (8-bit color with 4:2:2 or 4:4:4 chroma subsampling).

Well there is obviously at least one in that group of 3 that knows the fucking answer.

Yeah, they still do that, but most of the time the dubs suck really, really hard. Most of the good golden-age dubbers got fired or their companies went bankrup "because quality does not come cheap". Lyrics and dialoges get usually get more mangled on this days thanks to censorship.

Btw, spic autism made a pretty decent transformation of BT3 to Latam spanish. It takes audio clips from the anime, but it's pretty decent for what it is, and it feels way better to play than the regular BT3.

The only reason it worked for BT3 is because it's essentially the whole anime in video games. Most dialogues are surprisingly fitting for the game, even for the menus. It wouldn't work with Xenoverse because that shit it's too different from the anime, not to mention that it have a couple of new characters and a lot of new dialogues.

I didn't make the stuff in the webm i just had the guy who made it give me a lossless source and then i encoded it.
That line you highlighted is the chroma subsampling and the color format of the video. Another user said vp9 profile 1 tends to be fucky and what you've said confirms it, since webms with 4:2:0 (profile 0) chroma subsampling seem to work just fine but ones with 4:4:4 (profile 1) like mine don't. You'll have to download and play it on a player or wait until your web browser updates their vp9 decoder to a working version.

I went ahead already and sent the bug report to the devs. Seems no one else specifically sent in the problem yet, so I guess it's just a waiting game. I'll have to update my report with your extra info when their forum mods approve it.

Eh, i'd recommend knowing more about it. For instance is your web browser firefox? Because firefox uses ffvp9 for vp9 decoding, and it's a fast but pretty buggy decoder and firefox uses an old version. For instance mpc-hc uses ffvp9 aswell but it plays the video just fine

Chroma subsampling is a good way of decreasing file sizes in lossy encoding without a lot of perceived loss in quality. I made that webm without any subsampling because it consisted of mostly flat imagery with highly constrasting and sharp edges, the one situation where chroma subsampling lowers perceived image quality the most and one of the situations where image encoding is the most efficient. I felt like if i used chroma subsampling the webm would lose too much quality for negligible bitrate gains.
