Battle Brothers

What the fuck is up with this game's balance? I just got a one skull contract (the easiest) to kill orcs which made me fight 4 fucking warriors. And it paid only 600 gold. Fuck this game, you can't play on anything but beginner and now I'm only going to have contracts like this because even escorting caravans increases the difficulty even though it doesn't gives you experience and pays like shit.

You fucked up OP. Also post your company.

OK maggot, listen up. One skull orc is 4+ skull bandit, you're a scrub - git gud, if you can't find contracts MOVE ON plenty of better pay and lower risk shit out there. Escort is your bread and butter since they're literally paying you to move on to greener pastures.

Also what's your company like?

...

Shove it up (You)r ass.

anybody got torrent of the newest version?

As far as I know that's still 0.7.0.12 and you can pick it up on cs.rin

Somehow I only learned around day 30 that sitting still for a couple of days and letting your guys heal up isn't a bad idea.

...

someone hasn't played factorio

lmao

you can't haggle for more shekels
Motherfucker.

Are you retarded or something?

On the bright side high renown and faction rep will finally have some use

...

did you try cock123?

The point of posting a dl link in a thread is so that anons reading the thread can dl the game and play it, not have a .rar with the game's name taking up space on their hard drive because the link goes to a password-locked rar with no information given as to what the password is.

This, tbh.

Didn`t try the password but is right.

Password is cs.rin.ru

That worked.
Thanks m8.

Game is shit, there's no point to it. No story, no faction development, no way to even take control of your own town/city and improve it.

This is why procedural generation is shit, there's nothing authentic about the lore of the game and yet you're somehow supposed to feel fulfilled wandering around and immersing yourself in the game. You can't have open world/player-driven story AND procedural development.

pretty much this. I was hoping for a tactical rpg version of M&B warband but it's pretty barebones

Who gives a shit about "stories". The combat is what makes the game worth playing. My only criticism is that I want more then 12 men to command in battles.

...

The TBT is the meat of the game, just like XCOM. If you want RPG elements go play DA3.

The game has as much meat on it as an Auschwitz survivor
or a real trpg

Yeah? Well you got exactly that and I don't see a cause for your bitching. Now if and when they add more shit, and more shit they promised, it'll only build on a game that's already more fun and atmospheric than 70% of the shit that came out in the last two years.

Fuck off and read one of the fifty odd job introductions and then repeat that.

Then go play a city builder you prat. And M&B had tacked on fief management that barely anyone bothered with past building a fuckton of dyeworks and you know it.

Share your maps in this thread m8s, I'm desperate for a good looking and playable overworld map. I've been starting new games and deleting them after the first battle for the past two days.
;-;

Alright this is it. I give up. Random map generation is so awful that I can't be arsed to play this game. I won't invest any time in a campaign with a map as shit as this game's.

Seriously? Can you post an example? Also holy shit this thread refuses to die.

Literally ANY system would be better than the system they have right now. They could have a seed system, they could have a mapmaking system, they could have a seed system plus some default maps etc. This will eventually turn into another darkest dungeon where difficulty for the difficulty alone and taking all control away from the player are the only things that matter.

also the fact that you need to do that shitty first battle before even seeing the map you're gonna play on.
awful

I honestly don't know why I expected better ITT.

Now I'm hardly an expert but in some three-four campaigns I don't believe I saw as much as 5% swamp area, the mountain ranges on the other hand. The goddamn mountain ranges.
