The amount of hate the Switch is getting is ridiculous. It's on par with the awful Kinect/Xbox one combo and price plus the sharing games aspect that microsoft got shitted on for.
Inflation wise it's the fourth cheapest console launch price ever. The other three cheaper ones being dreamcast,gamecube, and wii.
Has the fifth best selection of launch titles for a console. The four best ones being N64,dreamcast,xbox and SNES

Online is a sore point and I know PS4 got a lot of flak for paid online too but it is what it is. The industry standard now. At the very least it's free until Fall and who knows they might keep it free permanently if they decide to change their minds.
The battery life of 2.5-6 hours is good for being a portable underpowered xbox one.
It's gonna get a VR headset that will be inexpensive compared to xbox(when it comes for sicario) and ps4 with hundreds of dollars.
Small portable gamecarts that balances out tiny 32 gb internal space. You're probably gonna be playing 2 to 3 games at a time and you can carry those in your pockets or pack easy. The cartridges makes the loading times faster for games compared to discs.
The shittiest part of this is the price of the accessories and controllers.
Overall it's a good portable console and launch.
