Played Alundra for the first time today. Its alright. A bit too damn wordy honestly. Its got the whole old school zelda vibe to it gameplay wise but with just this meh story on top.

I wish I knew. I had a blast playing through Call of Juarez Gunslinger, pretty much just using revolvers.

Oh yeah, there's one thing that's such a small addition, but its really helping me enjoy The Talos Principle.

I've been playing it with my Dualshock 4 controller ever since I realized it didn't require fast-paced camera action. Since it's a slow-paced puzzle game I can lounge back in my chair and use my controller for max comfy.

Anyway… even on Linux, the game can tell what controller you're using. I even tried using my Xbone controller to double-check DS4 wasn't just the default - but yup, it autodetects the controller you're using and uses the appropriate button prompts. I love it when games do that.

Not of that weapon. The game has a bunch of different materials. One of which is called Mystic Ore. It's a drop from rare spawns, and used to make elemental weapons. The weapon she stole used 30+ of it. If I'd broken the weapon down for materials, I would have gotten the mystic ore back, at least. It's just gone now. Puts a hamper on making a replacement one, too. And right now the dungeon is closed for plot reasons.

I was mostly rolling with an axe or spear. Axe can knock them into the air, comboing into an aerial attack. Spears can sort of combo the regular stab into the multi-hit attack, and that into another stab.
