I'd probably drop Ninty if they just made Link a girl for one game or god forbid, permanently as a MUH FEMINISM gimmick, but I wouldn't mind a gender select at the beginning for the rest of the series. They already made Linkle, and they always intended for the player to imagine themself as Link, might as well just give ladies the option.
Let's be honest, girl-Link would be for the male fans.
