The thing with private servers is they ALWAYS get C&Ds,typically THEY personally don't get the letters, their server hosts get it. Nostalrius could have simply moved hosts but instead tried to use their position to get jobs at blizzard and got shat on instead. They tried to do it AGAIN, calling the private server community pirates and that Elysium stop running their server, to which Elysium told em to fuck off.

How does Zeth compare to Anathema? Dynamic respawns and corpses vanishing before they can be looted don't sound too good. A lot of beginning players also means scarcity of low level crafting materials.

With the 8 dot limit and their fairly weak dps I don't see myself doing dungeons/raids without being a heal spec. Do i just have to suck it up and respec as heals to get my proper BiS shadow priest gear and then respec back so I can pvp? Obviously no dual spec until wrath but how did people do this in vanilla?

With eye of the storm you can immediately heal up after you get crit without worrying about caster pushback. What you got is just fail.

I was leveling on Nost PVP just fine with mount gold ahead of schedule, without asking lv 60s to escort. For sure, there's sometimes the opposite faction doing that and I end up getting killed, but that's no big deal.

On Zeth, the prices on the auction house are really low and I have no idea if I can make enough for a mount by level 40.

Same shit happened on Kronos 1 and Kronos 2 and guild didnt last past 2 months on Kronos 2 after hopping.

I'm actually not banned on nost PvP. The real reason is as stated earlier, we'd have to babysit anyone new coming in as well as the fact that nost PvP is obscenely congested and packed with more gold farmers who camp end game nodes.

What happened between elysium and zeth'kur is we had people on ely and on zeth and on nost. We chose to stick to one server and went with Zeth for fresh. the only real guild on elysium at the time was the alliance guild.

Vengeance of Azeroth is garbage, Hellground is a polish server turned international but has insane GMs who even monitor guild chat, Excalibur is decent but some people might not like the leveling rates, Gummys server is a meme that will never release.

Out of all those listed i could say Excalibur is best experience, they have all TBC raids scripted and they peak around 2k players (highest of all TBC private servers)

For comparison, what sort of player numbers does the Elysium server get? I used to play on Kronos when the 8ch thread was about Kronos but I assume there's a good reason that you've switched.

questie is a pretty useful addon if youre not autistic and know every quest.
atlasloot (and its derivatives) can show you where good shit drops for your class.

most importantly though is Spamthrottler, even if goldspammers arent a concern, it will hide identical messages so you wont see 7 lines of "LFM NEED TANK" in trade/general.

You'll find that selling certain low end ingredients will net you a ton of gold since a lot of players will just power level, and then work on professions after.

I like how I don't have to undercut the current prices to get stuff sold, like I would be copper or herbs (which even then, there's still chances my auction expires or only sells the bid).
