And in ME2 it was stated the krogans were slowly adapting to the genophage, meaning they would have naturally have had better reproductivity eventually. Why not just let the genophage slowly fade away while the krogan culture adapts to it?

Pistol is best gun. I went engineer, though it didn't end up being very good.

Might have to play through it again. Especially considering the first time I pretty much ran just Tali and Garrus. Need to skip the sidequests, though. Almost all shit.

Yes, curing the genophage is a bad move. Though, partial curing wouldn't be a bad thing. 1 Krogan every few years lets them maintain some functionality. Really, though, what the krogans need most of all is a thorough kick in the balls what makes them civilize.
