Dragon's Dogma and shit

I decided to pick it up and am a bit confused.
What's up with damage spongy enemies?
I'm past Hydra delivery sequence and anything stronger than goblins takes ages to kill. I barely scratch random bandits while they kill me in two-tree shots. It's not even hard, just tedious.
I bought better armor and weapons in the city but it doesn't seem to help. I'm also playing on normal mode, what am I missing here?

Use your skills to cope with your low level

Is level 18 considered low for random bandits?
Also I am trying to use skills, not only they burn through stamina like hell, but also doen't seem to do noticeably more damage than regular attacks.

Yes.

What class? And the game doesn't have level scaling outside of stronger versions of enemies. There are a fair few areas that the game will ask you to go to that have enemies that can deal and take a lot of punishment and require you to have an idea about what you are doing if you go there prior to having the level or armor/weapons to make up the difference.

You can upgrade weapons at weapon merchants.
There are bandits that are tougher than other bandits, depending on where you've been wandering. Dragon's Dogma doesn't stop you from going to places that your level can't handle well.

Fucking hell

The enemies have a certain damage resistance number; if they have a dr of 100, and you only do 80 damage, you will always only do 1 damage with your attack. if your attack was 200, you would do 100 damage.

git gud faget

Go away.

Assassin.

Almost next to a bunch of zombies that I effortlessly slaughtered a minute ago. I mean I would understand if game dropped a fuchuge one-shotting ogre at me, like it did in some quarry, so I understood it's an end-game are.
But near the Grand Soren there are both low level and high level enemies withing a hundred of meters apart? Really?

It gets better
You try travelling down a random road and you'll run into invisible lizards that can one-shot you, chimeras ogres, and a bandit fortress.
Speaking of which, tried the escort quests yet?

Get the fuck out of here, had you said MK or Mage then maybe I'd believe you.

Did you save him?

The bandits are incredible assholes in anyones first playthrough. You quickly come to a point where you feel like a living god though.
I can still remember my first time i fought a group of four ogres. Took me 3 tries and a good hour but it was the most intense and satisfying fight ever.
Now i just oneshot them.

...

Gransys wouldn't be as big and safe if it wasn't for him.

My first playthrough I started wandering all over the map at level 16, ignoring the main quest. I ran in to so many high level, dangerous enemies. Especially the drake which I did manage to ground once, but I was doing so little damage.
Eventually I made it all the way to Darkmoon Tower, but I didn't get very far because it was locked up. I got around that later.
It was a lot of fun simply wandering around and jotting down info for later.

What the fuck do I have to do to be able to fight shit on bitterbutt isle. I can wreck the gazer quick by just getting him to knock himself over and pummel the eye, but everything after takes barely any damage. The gold/silver knights took a solid 30 minutes minimum of me stunlocking to death with ricochet hunter to kill, it did barely any damage and if the spell casting one wasn't stunned he would cast a heal spell to undo all of my damage and res the other knight. I'm level 85 now. Also, I don't know what to do to kill shit with other classes, MA can kill elder ogres with ricochet hunter but fighter does dogshit all damage to them.

And I have no hope of killing the wight/dragon boss at the moment, my attacks don't do enough damage.

Conquerors.

I don't use items during combat except for curatives, it would feel like I'm not doing it with my own stats. Am I just too low level?

BB enemies have a higher Damage Threshhold. If you Magick Attack/Phys Attack is not high enough you simple don't scratch them.

Level properly or stack buffs.

You need to get a stronger weapon somewhere. It's that simple, but unfortunately there's not much else you can do.
You could also use some of those pariapts that temporarily increase your damage, then kill a boss before it runs out. If you get lucky you'll find a weapon and then you'll be good to go for the whole game.

Throwblasts are really good for damaging things or getting things into a position where you can damage them. I did my first Bitterblack run starting at level 4, because a lady in Cassardis sells them and you start with that monocle, which can be sold for a lot.
I never stuck with a fighter, so I'm not sure how their damage usually is, but you can get far enough in as an assassin with throwblasts to start doing real damage pretty quickly.

Better learn to love the grind and hope for lucky purifications.

rate my pawn

This too. As an assassin, you can beat the last boss of Bitterblack and it's true form in under a minute.

I'm using the dragon weapons you get from killing grigori, nothing else has surpassed them so far.

NiceHat/10
Also good job actually having good pawn inclinations.

Explosion/10

3/10

Why are the eyes so high up?

I fucking love this game

Do you have a mage or sorcerer keeping all of your party topped up with holy enchantments? For most enemies (NOT ALL, e.g. Dark Bishop is strong against holy, and so are the mimics), that will help.
As has been mentioned, periapts. I went through five tries against Daimon 2.0 without them and never got him to even half health, but with judicious use of periapts he was a breeze. I was reluctant to use items in combat too, but it would have saved me a LOT of frustration.

MA specific, have you been making sure to try both daggers and bow if you're not dealing much damage? Keep in mind your bow is magic damage while the daggers are physical, so you should always be able to use whichever enemies are more vulnerable to. Except fucking metal golems.
Also, I recommend you keep Magic Rebalancer usable; it stacks up to four times which increases both magic damage and magic defense by a LOT.

its the normal position i could lower down but its not bothering me up so much

My pawn is a mage for healing. And I've been using both with MA, ricochet wrecks a lot and if not I spam hundred kisses.

Damage calculation in Dragon's Dogma is literally just (Attack minus Defense), so if you're not doing full damage you're doing 0 damage.
Switch to Assassin (+6 Attack per level) or Warrior (+5) Attack per level and level up a lot.
Basically, levelling your stats equally is the worst thing you can do.

wait shit wrong image

Nice one.

Can anyone help with getting hybrid stat growth mods to work? I always botch it after trying to merge some graphical mods in and then copy over the leveling stats. I think I'm retarded but I got it to work before with the Mystic Knight but can't seem to get it to work with Magick Archer.

This game is piss easy if you every played a JRPG before. Why do people even make these threads. It's a great game and I love it, XCX is basically DD 2.5 with future dinosaurs and I'm loving that too on cemu , but people making threads about "DD is so hard XD" is fucking dumb.

Kill yourself OP.

Oh baby!

What are the best inclinations for my mage pawn? I want her to basically stand back and let me have all of the glory in combat, while she just heals me and uses other support stuff, otherwise using some offensive attacking, and to help me if I'm in trouble.

Primary: Medicant, Secondary: Utilitarian.

Rate my prawn

Stats aren't that important, gear and overall level is. The game is specifically built to allow and encourage experimentation, don't try and minmax.

Medicant makes them take a support role, Utilitarian (with a good knowledge of enemies) will make them use the most effective enchants for the foes you're facing.
I think I also had a tertiary inclination for my mage but I don't remember.

give him a different cape, that one has weird colors compared to the rest of his stuff

sometimes mitigator can be better if you're only using tenfold flurry, but if he's doing fine you probably don't have to change it

otherwise he seems fine

It's one of the Bitterblack capes, so the decrease in stats isn't worth the fashion.

choose one

...

Nice builds

Try to knock them down a lot. Feels like enemies take more damage while they're on the ground.

I remember the time I tried Mercedes' escort quest just about right after coming to Gran Soren. It ended with her getting oneshot by that fucking dragon

Sleep resist is almost pointless, it's only good for death and nothing else. possession resist is where it's at.

...

...

Can one start as Figher/Mage and hit MK as soon as possible and be fine from there or do I need to do more min/maxing leveling first?

The very first time you encounter bandits, just run from them. You're simply just not strong enough yet

min/maxing is pointless and unnecessary in this game

So I could just pick whatever, get to Gran Soren and become a MK and still stomp the game? Cool.

I would like to actually do BBI but its always a damage sponge and DPS race-a-thon and it kills my interest in playing. Maybe I always do it too low in level. I tried it in NG+ and didn't fare well.

people let pawns get possessed?
the possession animations for enemies when they attack a pawn is just way too good an opening to shit damage.

i first tried bbi around level 35, it was what made me really like the game even though i spent a lot of time running away. i made it to the room before the lost city before finding grigori.
attacking only weak/stagger points helps an awful lot, though i don't have much experience with the mage classes.

Try fighting second form Daimon with 3 ranger pawns with no possession resist, it will happen and you will get ten-fold flurried.

You know the room where you get the Void Key? The one with the gargoyles and the chained-up giant cyclops, where you have to climb bridges to the top where the key is?
Try standing on a bridge and sniping the cyclops to death. It can drop a L2 Bitterblack Weapon, which will probably be a cut above a Grigori weapon.

Liking good vidya is suffering

I killed the devil boss at the end of bitterblack isle. Now what?

Of course, someone's gotta keep me on the roids

Op's here.
Let me tell you why this is bullshit.
I found a fucking chimer roaming randomly in the forest.
I was prepared with a bunch of boosting items and my pawn could cast fire blades or whatever.

First of all climbing is shit. Fucking Shadow of The Colossus did it better on a GODDAMN PS2.
Here you press one direction, your mcfaggot drags his ass into another. What the fucking hell.
Next is idiotic damage reduction/armor buff that enemy receives FOR NO REASON when it's near death. I was doing consistent damage even whem my str up run out, but once this faggot got around 5% of HP left, suddenly my attacks stopped doing any visible damage at all!
I ended up scratching him for like 10 minutes for him just to die.
Now the damage enemy does. The same attack can hit you either for 30% or for 100% i.e. instakilling you. The same fucking attack, with no visual indication or any difference.

This game is full of bullshit, it's Dark Souls 2 level of simplu unfair and tedious shit instead of legit difficulty. It wasn't hard fight or engaging or exciting fight.
It was boring, dragged out, gimmicky one. There is no gitting gud involved, not at all.

At the beginning of your game enemies hit like a truck and tank everything thrown at them, the more you level the more this subsides.
Also go read this page.
dragonsdogma.wikia.com/wiki/Stat_Growths

You're not going to do much physical damage with daggers to a standing chimera that's reduced to lion's head only, that's the way this game works. Have to knock it down or at least sit on his head and fuck him up with heavy attacks to distract it so your fucking pawn can get off its ass and throw Ingles at it.

Git gud.

Git gud at what? I killed that piece of shit on the first try.

yes, the climbing is extremely irritating, how you move seems to be entirely dependent on camera angles at that time

Except you can't even move the camera.

I haven't played it for a few years but I remember mystic night plus great cannon destroys everything, also magic archer is pretty good, especially when you use ricochet hunter in closed areas like bitterblack isle, its really useful if you want to farm death.

Using those skills drains your stamina pretty though, I farmed giant fish from bloodwater beach when I wanted to take on drakes and other mini boss enemies.

What's the best skills for MK?

Probably something like Cannon, Full Moon, Comestion, elemental buffs depending on where you're going. But try all sorts of skills out yourself.

You can move the camera. How can you be such a whiny faggot while playing Assassin? It's the fucking best class for a reason.

Get your pawn the proper buffs to you or get buff items like in any RPG or better yet, find the weak spot of the creature and it does not take rocket science: The fucking head.

Git gud
If you suck so much and refuse to git gud, hit the god damn legs so they fall, do not expect to deal damage on the legs either.

You are an assassin, you can have a bow for massive bursts, you can parry any phys attack and become invul because fuck you and you can nonfuckingstop hit something while climbing it unlike any other class.

Anyways, I'm replaying this game again. This time as a sorcerer. I cannot believe that at such low level I'm destroying quimeras and duo cyclops. This burst damage is insane.

I meant augments.

Well what is it now? Am I in too high level area again? Why are some enemies weak as as shit and some others in the very same area are fucking level 999 gods?

'Tis no cowardice to run from combat, 'tis survival.

When you don't know if you can withstand a hit from a new enemy, poke them, look at what they do, do not engage, look at the damage they deal to the pawns. And for the love of god, if you're such a whiny bitch, don't explore at night.

...

It probably only feels like 3 hours because you can't do anything at night when you're weak.

I'm about to start a new game on hard mode. Should i go fighter for the extra defense or will i end up getting 1 shot either way? I've never tried assassin either for some reason so i was thinking of doing that.

Riposte causing multiple triggers of Great Canon is amazing.

Eternal Ferrystone. Use the inns, place on the map pointers to where you were before if needed to explore later at day.
If you are such a extreme whiny faggot install a mod that gives you infinite stamina for only running so you can sonic fast explore.
Also I would recommend a mod to multiply your carrying weight at least x2 since you're new, you'll want to grab everything and won't be able to run for shit either. I still remember my first run that I was going with pawns just so they could carry my shit instead of helping me in combat.

...

Just go to Bitter Black Isles

So you beat it, but you're still not satisfied? Now you know how all of your sexual partners feel.

So… how do you guys feel that Capcom won't make a sequel of this, and even if they do, it would be ruined by western developers?

It's for the best
A sequel would probably be casual as hell and they'd likely gimp/remove character editors due to the steam outcry of faggotry over people making loli pawns

could be better

Terrible mode.

How is the mod scene for the gayme? Any good mods worth a try?

What about lewd mods?

The mod scnee is not very varied but you can find nude mods, enb, stuff about stats or stamina, jumping slightly higher, switch the looks of stuff etc.

The nude mod is a must not because of the tits, but because it removes the ugly as fuck bandages so you can actually wear clothes showing some skin or to show the damn scar as a woman if you are a female Arisen.

At least game can look good despite being ancient PS3 game with shit texures and ugly models.

How do you move camera during climbing sessions? Mouse doesn't do it.
At what level do you unlock parry? Or is it only for shields?
I don't use bows or shields, it's super gay, only daggers.

You're saying my hands have feelings?

Isn't DD Online already a sequel? From what I've read it has full fledged story mode, and combat is the same but improved with new weapons.
It just so happen to have online grindan component you can ignore, kinda like PSO2.

Holy fucking trips, can you upload it somewhere? Nexus asks for registration or some shit to view MUH ADULT CONTENT.

Another must-have mod is the one that reduces the blinding glow of enchanted weapons, and removing the watermark from screenshot mode.

STAB AT THE SENSE OF JUSTICE

The parry is for daggers faggot.

I sure hope you enjoy BBI against Death itself.

Also, I do not play with KMB, I play with a PS2 controller I shit you not. The fucking game detects my fucking PS2 perfectly fine and I play it flawlessly, 'tis a blessing since I dont have any other controller and I dont need to use x360ce or xpadder to make it work.

Forgot to mention, just killed the Drake near the Shadow Fort were the many escort missions at lv30 with the sorcerer.

Jesus fucking christ the sorcerer is nuts, he's a fucking glass CANNON. The damage is atonishing, I got instantly killed in one hit three times though.

Also, my pawn inclinations are really god damn awful since I don't have enough to pick up potions to change her inclinations. Does someone know how to change the price for hiring your own pawn? I want to put it at 0RC so anyone can grab it at any level. Name's "Seras", warrior at the moment to get the augments and some HP on level up, she'll be most probably a Fighter after that.
My pawn's at the moment Mitigator Scather, since I'm totally new to magic in the game when I dont have stamina I just pick up items thus the pawn got used to pick up stuff in the middle of a fight.

I have a bunch of fucking controllers, KB+M is superior input device for any vide game genre ever.
Is there any other town or place where I can learn shit apart from Gran Soren and first fucking village? I'm pretty far from that and already got a bunch of levels and vocation ranks, so I'm pretty sure I can learn new shit, but don't want to drag my ass all the way back.

Controllers are just better for 3D action games man. But if you're comfy with KBM, hell power to you man.

What do you mean by learn shit? New shit or just the "learn / set vocations"? There are a few travelers in some corners of the map where you can learn / set vocation. You cannot learn new skills outside of those, all shit you find is strategy volumes for your pawns.

Did you pick up your Eternal Ferrystone from Gran Soren's Inn warehouse/storage? That should make everything easier. Also, there are a few portcrystals that you can place wherever the fuck you want. I do recommend you to put them in the corners, the first one you should find it on the goblin invasion sidequest with the Wyrm Hunt, place that Port crystal outside of that very place since you'll get way too many escort missions to that place and also because you can try to farm the first Drake every few game days for great rewards.

Assassin is easily one of the most OP classes, you should be killing shit left and right in a matter of seconds.

We have had this discussion before, it has been proven (with video) that M+KB is viable even for high level, Dante must die Devil may cry playing. No other action game is significantly more demanding.
To a degree, racing and fighting is better with controller, but that's not relevant to this discussion.

Viable does not mean being better.

This is simple: try to play a 3D platformer with a controller and then emulate it with a keyboard, hell try to play Ape Scape with KBM.

I played through Legacy Of Kain franchise entirely on keyboard.
Controllers are objectively inferior.

IIRC if you're at the part where suddenly you run into bandits that are too tough for you, you missed the witches' wood intro quest. that's a whole zone that will get you some levels you need before you continue on towards the big city.

You press forward and your character moves forward relative to where they're facing. You press left or right and they rotate left or right relative to where they're facing. It's tank controls. That's literally all there is to it

Once the snake and goat are dead you have to attack the lion part, the only part still alive. It's not rocket science

I assume you can't use it on giants right?
At least this should suffice to deal with overleveled shit like skeleton kniggers.

You can use it against anything as long as it's physical. You can't parry fireballs, but yes, enjoy spamming that shit and be literally invulnerable against enemies that has no magic. Assassin is OP for a reason user and parry is by no means the strongest skill either, you'll see

Is there anything apart from fire blades and healing that is worth giving to my pawn?
It keept spamming useless shit like blinding or some weakening spell that did literally nothing, so I think I'm removing them.

You can parry Grigori

Fire and Holy are best elements. Ice is nice for some drakes, only pick that one up when you know where you are going.
Healing is shit, do not have a Mage pawn, make it a Sorcerer for the massive burst damage gain please, don't be a faggot. The healing is too slow, in a small area and it will make the other two pawns retarded deciding if attacking or healing themselves losing time.

Get your pawn to be a Sorcerer and put it two boons (fire and holy a best), Gicel Bolide Seism and then you have a last slot for your choosing. Comestion, Maelstrom, Izle (dont remember the name now, the lightning fast one to stunlock cyclops). You can also remove one of the boons when you know where you're going for another quick damage spell. Keep in mind, Gicel is the kind of ice spell that can at even low level destroy fucking drakes and seism is a big fuck you to certain bosses who I wont spoil.

As said, you can parry Grigori. Imagine stopping a big giant ass dragon with just a dagger, that's the fucking assassin.

ANd finally, please, just, please. Do not be a faggot and be like "hurr durr bows are for faggots". Do you want to have fights that lasts more than two hours because the pawns does not hit the ONLY weak spot of golems? You CANNOT reach as a melee, you wouldnt BELIEVE how many LITERAL HOURS it took me as a warrior to do the golems. I had to FUCKING climb on top of the golems, jump and PRAY that my air attack slightly touches the weak spot. Rinse and REPEAT forever, and that if the golem lets you do that, now with a bow it's ez.

I fucking hate archery.

Isn't the lion part resistant to physical damage too? Even in the tutorial fight you're told stuff like that.

Powder barrage. I believe I do not have to say more

Resistant, but not immune, you play a Fighter in the tutorial after all. -25% on all purely physical damage

Anyone going to dump the character builds pic?

Nobody even uploaded nude patch yet.
I really don't fucking want to register anywhere just to get boobs in video game.

Just make the god damn account user, use whatever e-mail for nexus. It's going to be the fastest way.

It's, by no means, only that.

Is there a way to not have flat ass.

Yes. It involves hex editing the executable

In Dragon's Dogma, anything human-sized or smaller can be picked up and thrown, including enemies (during hitstun, of course).

Next time a bandit's giving you trouble, just throw him to his death.

I just got some giant, but not as cyclops giant, nigger in some fucking ruins under the main city dropped to his death off the ledge.
It saved me a lot of trouble, since he was even more armored than cyclops, but I wonder if I missed any good loot from him.

Don't think you're supposed to fight that at that level. You'll get to punch some more of them later on anyway.

Yeah that's the absolutely weird shit about this game. Locations have both mobs that you can easily kill and mobs that are too tough for you.
That's some terrible piece of game design.
If one thing Dark Souls did right, it's if you're getting too far ahead of yourself, game explicitly let's you know by only have overpowered enemies in this area, not this random ass mixture of both.

*game explicitly lets you know

The level design in the Everfall explicitly gives you a way to avoid that ogre. In this case, if you insist on smashing your head into the wall it's your problem.

...

There are gates you can lock the ogre behind, you can have it focus on your female party members, and you can even lure it off the edge to its death; there's also a fuck ton of explosive barrels that do decent damage to the thing. The big monsters should be tough; besides you can always clear out the fodder and come back restocked.

I'm not giving up hope until Itsuno announces his new project and it ISN'T DD2 or a spiritual successor.

It's surprising how little you need a dedicated healer in this game. I always made my pawn some sort of healslut but in a recent game i ended up making my pawn a fuck huge ranger that could carry a bunch of potions and i swear it worked a lot better.

Seriously, if you ever need a healslut, buy about 200 empty bottles, fill them at a healing spring and toss them to your pawn. Works far better than Anodyne ever will.

Buy better weapons, nigger.

What makes the game easy as fuck is not only the class you're playing (assassin), but the items you can carry with you or your pawns.

You can mindlessly smash your head against a big ass creature like a retard that it wont matter, you can pause, heal. You run out of items? Pick up the items from your pawns. To balance this, they made the weight be a "fuck you" and thus you can carry little things and thus your stamina goes down really fast because of this, but again, put them in your pawns and fuck 'em.

Also, if you make your pawn a ranger, do not give him daggers so he only uses bows.

When are we getting DD2?

Just play DDO

The sequel would probably be a massive fuck-up, dragon's dogma works because it's not streamlined and feels like an actual rpg, attempts to modernize it and make it appealing to normalfags would ruin that charm.

If Capcom's suits(which are among the worst) left Itsuno to his own devices and actually let him complete the game, DD2 would be amazing.

Fucking suits, man.

Becoming a business was the worst thing to ever happened to video games. "Make a good game that may be profitable" was replaced with "Make a profitable game that may be good".
Maybe if the "indie" clique and the SJWs get roped, AA devs will finally be able to do what they love without getting shat on by shit games gaining overexposure through those cliques.

I thought about that but i figured if people saw my pawn was missing vital gear no one would hire him. Not that he ever got hired anyways, healsluts get all the action.

Holy shit that pisses me off. At least they got to do what they wanted with grim dawn.

On limited funding though.

It's a rock and a hard place for passionate devs: either become a publisher's whore and compromise your vision or be unable to fulfill your vision due to a lack of cash.

I dunno man, all I do is kill shit and loot crates. If anything it feels more like a diablo clone with more involved combat system.
All my interaction with NPCs boils down to take/refuse quest. I tried to talk with people around the city and they're either give quests or mumble about random shit. Just like in some diablo clone.

My female warrior that does not show either tits or face is getting hired man.

What's your level on that pawn and name? I may hire it since Im playing a sorcerer around lv35 now. I can bring that fella around to learn more about the maps and creatures and you can do the same hiring mine.

There are exactly two things that affect the price of hiring a pawn:
1. The pawn's level relative to your level. Equal or lower = 0 RC.
2. Whether the pawn's owner is on your friends list or not. Hiring a friend's pawn is always free regardless of level.
I think we used to have a Google Docs spreadsheet for pawn sharing…

We used to have those, but I had the game pirate by then so I couldnt join the fun till this last sale where I finally bought the game so I could actually share the pawn and grab other's pawn.

You wouldnt believe how useless offline pawns are.

I still remember by first time fighting those bandits. It was hell.

Bleating

She-goat

...

Do these niggers even have two brain cells to rub together? Holy fuck this is the most retarded thing I've read in a while.

Maybe. My beef is that there's people in this business that clearly don't like or give a fuck about video games, but are still at high levels of decision making.
Whether they're profit blinded suits who couldn't care as long as the game prints money or investors and shareholders who really have no fucking clue what would make a game good yet still demand certain things be implemented.

They all need to be lined up and shot.

I never paid attention to these exploding throwables, I though they were shit meant for utility on less versatile classes, not really good at dealing damage. I ended up going back to Gran Soren and buying all of the throwblasts and dragon spit's Madelaine had, was more than enough to kill all the ogres with ease.

We used to but it got fucked up at some point iirc

You can also pick up best girl instead of waiting for her to pick up coins and admire them on the ground.

I'm glad somebody finally posted worst girl

You take that back.

no, post True best girl

This

Fuck.

I didnt know you came to Holla Forums burch. Hows the next memelands?

I'd like to remind everyone theres a naked mod on the nexus, as well as a high res texture pack that iirc goes up to 4k.

Oh shit, nice. Will have to grab that if I do decide to play again.

You can say that again. Just look at them.

Why live?

ffs HOW do you make a nice looking male pawns
The waifus are easy but every male I make ends up looking like shit

Pretty sure its on the nexus or moddb

Every girl is better than her. Even the damn slutty queen. Female arisen is best girl

Soooo how do I make my pawn do actually something useful? Does it have limited casts number or some shit? Sometimes it doesn't cast the spell at all.
Or do I just return here when I'm level 999 and just one shot the fucker?

change its inclination. your pawn responds to your behavior in and out of combat. it also responds to your techniques while you use the same class as them. so, that's it. use the same class as them and show them how to play that role. of course you can just go to the tent in the encampment and buy the magic potions that will change your pawn's inclination instantly, but you're gonna need a lot of rift crystals for that

inclination only changes their general strategy, you also have to expose them to enemy/monster tactics before they can respond in kind. your pawn will let you know when it understands a new tactic, and you can look in the pawn's stats to see their beastiary knowledge. so, these two things are the fundamentals of pawn development.

So basically come back later at level 999 or play magic bitch yourself, k thanks bye.

Best augments for a MK?

My pawn just came back with a non-default rating, a gift item, and knowledge of the Seneschal. How is that possible?

Also how do you romance your pawn? Don't tell me you can't.

Looks like your pawn fucked with god somehow

Can't, I don't even really think they feel emotion
that was like a big thing
they only act the way you want them too
they're literally soulless husks
plus it'd fuck with the ending stuff

The moral of the story is that waifus have no soul.

Just ask Daimon.

I got you family

...
