I would like to mention that all of those games work with Win7, they without a doubt all work on XP, most if not all would also probably work on Win2000 and some might even work on older windows OSs. Dunno about Win8 or above. There are also 3 old swf games in the rar, they should all play without any problems on most browsers.

Also, there is another game i used to play a lot as a kid. Its called World War 2 Sniper. Basically, its an old WW2 FPS. It can be quite hard at times but i found it quite fun. I've never heard anyone talk about it anywhere, its pretty unknown.

It's okay. Neither good nor bad.
But it felt empty, multiplayer was dead, the "mmo" version of this is dead as well and it has mods galore as well, the most notorious one being Lost London, which lets you customize the amounts of things to kill, rewards are scaled up, alongside difficulty, map size, etc.

All in all I want to play it because I have a bit of nostalgia of it.

Can't speak for all of them, but I know for a fact Yoda Stories was an earlier version of Windows (either 3.1 or 95), and Indiana Jones Desktop adventure is the same engine. There wouldn't be much point in uploading the wavs, I can't tell the difference in quality between the MP3s and the original wav files. Plus the original wavs are in the game's files which aren't hard to copy and paste into a soundtrack folder if that's what you want then organize them as you see fit. It's just a time consuming process and some of the battle music is more segmented than the MP3s I did so I had to combine a few of those in the process. It's mainly just labeling and converting everything one by one that takes a while and I felt giving people the convenience of an easy download with everything already neatly organized would be appreciated (I hate soundtracks that aren't exactly in order, especially for things where there's an order of levels which determine the order in which you first encounter music in the game).

For things like Yoda Stories, Desktop Adventures, Oregon Trail (CD Enhanced), Oregon Trail 2, and such they're Windows games. But early Windows games back when Windows 95 was still around. I can get the Quick Start menu screens to load up for the games but can't seem to get the actual games to work or install so I can play them, so I'm kind stumped as to how to get them to work.

I've used all the compatibility modes I can think of to no avail, that's generally the first thing I do as a PC gamer with an older game that I don't have as part of a GOG installer that works out of the box. I know in order to get the original Myth games to work playing with the original CDs you have to go through an annoying process of figuring out the ideal compatibility mode to play them (well at least the first game, haven't gotten around to the 2nd one yet). It's annoying but eventually I don't mind as long as the game works. Sadly I can't get the earlier mentioned games to work when I tried them.

For general video downloading, I use either Ant Video Downloader or the Firefox Video Download plugin. I use Freemake for downloading things just to make sure I can get it in MP4 format before converting it to audio (also with Freemake), cus something on say Youtube for example that has content id for audio may not be detected by the Firefox plugin, and Freemake sometimes tends to throw a fit trying to convert from WebM or MKVs of downloaded videos. Ant Video Downloader since it downloads the direct stream of the video/audio tends to end up saving in WebM or MKV format (I usually use it to download stuff that may have notable pieces of music in them and get content ID'd).

As for the GOG installers, install fanpatches that will help fix stuff and put the children back in there, pretty easy to do too. For Fallout 1 I'd recommend Fallout Fixt, for Fallout 2 I'd recommend the Fallout 2 Restoration Project by Killap.

I was trying to say that the ghosbin link is what you are looking for as it list`s all of the games in the 2TB collection. This was to hopefully reduce the amount of user`s asking for GOG stuff as most of them will be in the torrent and that it would be easier to search through it without having to wait for metadata to download. The ROMs and ISOs archive doesn't have a single ghostbin link in it, let alone one for that specific file.
And even then, I'd still need a .torrent file to select which files I want, as magnets don't allow for that.

I was talking about the 2TB may 16th GOG dump in MegaArchive. Also file selection capabilities is at a client level, so it doesn't matter what you use to aquire the data. Qbittorrent allows you to select files and do other processes (e.g. pause) after metadata is downloaded and before it is properly imported into your client.

Well, apparently that's the one downside to using Deluge.
Now I need a second client just for this task.

Deluge can also sort files even in the same way, but it is not easy to use at least for me as it doesn't have a search feature.

Axis and Allies is giving me trouble, too. I can only really find the 2004 game.

I've seen some abandonware sites that have the DOS version of Civ one but it looks and seems a lot different from the CD enhanced version I played growing up. Also all the let's play/gameplay footage I can find on Youtube is of the DOS version since it's the one version that's really online.

I did see an Amazon listing for the CD Enhanced Version of Civ 1, but I'm not sure how available it is to find a copy.

About Civ1 "cd enhanced edition", screens on amazon disk shows DOS version, but you says "different looks", and win3.11 version actually has bit different looks, check screens and if they tickles your memory, especially that focken windows interface, then go there for "Floppy-version" (no install requires) and "Update" (second update link gives you patch to change it looks to be DOS-alike, and last "Floppy Images" gives you "win3.11 v1.2" that require installation)

Appreciate the link and torrent. Unfortunately I'm having a hard time trying to figure out how to download the Civilization things on that page due to it being in Russian. The screenshots you posted are in fact the version I played growing up.so that's right on the spot, I just wish there were a way for me to play it now.

I'm familiar with using torrent magnets but not torrent hashes. I'm not sure how to use a torrent hash info or something for taking care of a torrent. Like for say, AxisAndAllies-2006 with the dashes.

Then there may be something with a slash in the code which makes it seem like an internet link for a download site.

Torrent hashes are really just a slimed down version of a magnet and one that I prefer as it is less data. Some clients cough*utorrent*cough many not support them.
If they were either a forward or backward slash I could see your point however they are hyphens. If you mean some of the links below some of the links and or *.com, yes there are intended to be sites.

I meant things like Alice Madness Returns in the PC list that have a slash (or two) in their code.

Likely that magnet link is linked to your account and anyone downloading it counts against your ratio.

An infohash can either be placed into a torrent client under the hash option, or, and I'm not sure if this always works but I've done it a few times thinking it was a magnet link, you can add "magnet:?xt=urn:btih:" to the front of a hash and it works. Not sure if that's normal, but I've done it before.

Does anyone have the esm's for Dragonborn, Dawnguard, and Hearthfire- I think someone mentioned that instead of Bethesda actually protecting their game, you can just put the esm's in the data folder and play it fine.

I suppose you could use the esm files on Steam, but would it detect it as a mod or as the official DLC?

As for links, I found them on YouTube videos. Search "Skyrim DLC esm".

I have the Steam version, though when a mod shows an incompatability, it just says that it's missing the esm.
YouTube links usually concern me as they are often laced with malware, at least from my experience.

While working on setting up "Twitchy Surreal Skyrim" mod repack I eventually realized that I needed all three DLC. Anyway to make a long story short uploading to the vola , a multi part archive I created with just the DLC and the Offical "high" resolution textures (That doesn't look any better, could just be the main one) from the Ultimate edition that was posted to one of these threads a while back. $part-name,$sha256sum Password simply the name of the archive.
