Lots and lots of practice and patience. Also confidence in your movements helps a ton. IIRC you can also get some help in "pushing" straight lines and "pulling" curved ones.

If your lines are jittery it could be from a lack of resistance. Paper has a distinct resistance when you draw on it, it steadies your hand. You either need more practice or a way to get a more paper like resistance on whatever you use to draw.

my hand is gittery as fuck but you can avoid that with line smoothing in >insert graphical editing tool

I'm far from being an authority or even knowledgeable on snake anatomy, but what I can suggest is working on your line quality. Drawing bigger strokes should help. A nice exercise could be to draw dots on your canvas and try to interpolate them with a nice, continuous curve. Then you can apply that on your drawings without the actual dots: these are where you want your stroke to pass through. You can also imagine the tangents the curve is supposed to pass through.

There's some okay stuff innit. But you still have the beginner's flatness. Isolate the bat+arm and think if it gives a proper sense of depth. Also, these things that curve behind another part of the object, such as the end of the sleeve and the collar, you need to imply more strongly of them going behind the hand/neck.
