Biggest issue mentioned by people was the load times. 2nd to that was frame drops when things got busy. Hopefully this PC and new-gen port fixes those 2 problems and doesn't sell for like $40 when the Wii U version is >$20 now.

This is the first game since R6 Siege that looks fun to me (Siege is shit filled with shit).

I didn't think the Lego games were so well-liked on Holla Forums aside from the open world games, which I can see this one is too, but what is it about these games that's so fun?

I remember enjoying the first two Lego Star Wars games because of the novelty but found that the rest of them were just the same, goofy collectathons with repetitive levels and trivial consequence for death. How are the open-world games different? Kind of curious since I might give these games a shot if they sound appealing.

They're not that different as far as collecting a bunch of crap, but they're very charming and funny.

Ir's not and likely never will be. The Wii is most likely isolated from the actual WiiU itself, since the Wii has been breached numerous times with numerous exploits, and Nintendo wouldn't want you dicking around with that, much like Sony has numerous security measures out the ass for the Vita and PSP.

Not that it means anything since both consoles have been hacked natively. Just give it time, it'll come to your firmware eventually. If you're really anxious to hack it, I'd recommend selling the wiiu and buying one on ebay at a lower firmware that supports any hacks.

I definitely got burned out of the standard Lego game after a while, but every now and then a pretty cool one comes around. I remember being legitimately shocked when I found out that the first Marvel one was a GTA clone with superpowers.

Generally, gameplay-wise, the Tt Lego games are decent at worst, and they ooze with humor, charm, and generally a love for the franchise the game is based on. They have a lot of heart to them, which is why people of Holla Forums tend to like them.

The Marvel one lets you play as a ton of Marvel characters, which includes being able to freely fly around as Iron Man.

Lego Dimensions if you have money you can comfortably set on fire for goofy scenes like this.

Beyond that, pick between Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter or Batman/DC and get the latest version of such respectively.

They kind forced themselves in that creative corner. The visuals are very simple and kind of fun, and along with the brand recognition it's hard to take it as try-hard at face value. Their only choice at the end is making the gameplay fun.

Yeah load times were the only major annoying issue. Boot game up, LOAD TIME. Go to police station to purchase unlocks, LOAD TIME. Story mission cutscene/or go to mission level, LOAD TIME.

Hopefully with that fixed more people will get to experience this game, it's pretty comfy and probably the closest you can get to Police Squad! being a video game.

If anyone played Lego marvel I had some problems with it, the story was okay but the GTA city aspect of it was pretty bad as in there was not much to do, you are OP as fuck, and bland mechanics of driving. Etc
