state enforced racemixing
Sometimes I look at a world map and I think
One of those places are those islands north of Europe.
What is this place? Do people live there? Is it a country?
I've never heard a single word about this place in my entire life.
...
Svalbard
that's Svalbard, a colony of Norway. there's a couple hundred people living there. mostly miners.
the sun there goes down sometime in november and doesn't come back up again until late january
...
Thats Solstheim
Those are the Svalbard Islands islands, property of Norway although it also hosts a significant russian population
It was first colonized in the 18th centiry as a whaling base, nowadays it's inhabited by roughly 2500 people
It is also so far north they experience polar nights in winter
...
How far off the coast is that island chain
Kuruminha is Brazilian, not mexican
Finland is about 1,000 miles tall, so you can use that as a measuring stick
It's all the same spic shit.
I bet the hottest shemales in the world live there
They used to sell chink shit to Brazilians. Now we get chink shit directly, so I guess it's just casinos and whores.
Pretty damn far, well over 1000km.
I think he meant american native + spanish = beaner, just like american native + nigger + portuguese = huehuehue.
It must be like living on a different planet.
It's certainly an interesting place, very remote. Barely anybody lives there.
I do that too. What about Greenland? Does it serve any actual use?
I know how you feel. just noticed this one myself
Cool place to search for ancient alien ruins tbh
99% of people in Greenland live on the coasts, most of Greenland is icy tundra so there's not much going on unless you're a researcher or on an expedition. The locals very rarely ever go out into the wild.
Sometimes I wonder how many places exist but won't be found on any map because they are memory holed for whatever reason.
This is legitimately one of the most interesting threads on Holla Forums at the moment.
Sounds like it would be a good place to move to and pretend you were living in Skyrim.
There's actually a bunch, Google Maps/Earth seems to be censored as fuck if we take into account heat maps from specialized GPS services
And then you have other places where the local population doesn't want anything from outsiders. Asia and Latin America still have a ton of interesting ruins and places, but natives don't want current year infecting them
It's all fun and games until you get a bounty on your head.
Got any examples on hand? I'm legit curious about this topic.
That's Socotra.
Despite being off the cost of Somolia, it's apart of Yemen. 44,000 people live there, it's famous for looking really fucking weird.
it looks like some sort of dreamscape
shit nigger what the fuck
What is this place?
They're dragon trees, they only exist in Socotra.
When you cut them they fucking bleed.
Socotra is a really weird place.
...
holy shit. it's Outland…
jesus christ
Looks like some Dreamtime shit.
What about that little arc of islands that trail off of Alaska? Anything happening there?
Do the Old Gods live there as well?
Holy fuck, how have I never heard about this place? That's really interesting.
I know that one of those islands used to have native people on it, but during WW2 the Japanese captured a lot of them and they either died or never went back to the island.
It's one of the largest uninhabited islands in the world, can't remember which one it was though.
I think there was a book about that on the reading list when I went to school.
Their first leader was like a proto-commie before communism was even invented. Pretty cool.
Majority of the population are native inuits who emigrated there from themainland around the 13th century
Socotra, Yemeni territory highly isolated from the rest of the world, which for this reason is home to a large variety of endemic plant and animal species, this grants the island the title of natural heritage site from the UNESCO and the reputation of "most alien looking place on earth"
Human population is mostly arabian with few indian, somali and subsaharian african minorities
About 40.000 people live there
Wrangel island is under the administration of Russia, it is located exactly on the 180° meridian, but the date time line is conventionally displaced east of them to not get in the way
Biologists also believe it was one of the last places Mammoths lived in before extinction
This island is also preserved by UNESCO as a natural world heritage site, and its only population consists in a weather station
So what about Uruguay? Does it have a lot of Italians and spaniards or are they actually mixed with Amerindians?
It's very rocky, it has a lot of wildlife around the coasts like polar bears and seals.
kys yourself
E. all of the above?
Neat.
I remember that zone in FFXI.
terrorists build bipedal mechs there apparently
I find a lot of open world vidya like Breath of the Soy is great for things like this. Especially Soy of the Wild in particular because literally everything on the world map has a name. See that random ass hill in the distance? It has a name. That group of trees? It's a small forest with a name. Point to any random place on the map, find its name and say "I want to go there" and you can.
en.wikipedia.org
Islands with 144 sq miles of land and not a single soul living there. Thousands of miles from civilization in any direction. How hard would it be to go there and squat in a house you built yourself? How do we know people aren't already doing just that?
Some people probably do. They also probably die the first time they get in a real bind because they have no access to any help, medical care, or supplies.
...
The fuck do they think they're fooling with this shit?
back to Holla Forumseddit. this thread is actually interesting.
What was wrong with ?
ebin MGS reference
I love open world games too despite the fact they're all garbage. But just because they all suck doesn't mean you can't enjoy them.
There are boats in Breath of the Soy though
Like this thread is about movies anyways
Burgerland used it as a base for their nuclear bomber fleet and as a starting point for spying operations on the drifting Arctic ice during the Cold War.
Jemen is pretty famous for the people there building houses up to nine stories tall using only loam and clay bricks.
What about all these islands to north of Russia and Canada? Some of them look big enough to decent sized countries on their own. And what about this tiny island smack dab in the middle between Africa, India, and Oceania?
Sure, mind helping him walk over to that wall over there?he can't he's blindfolded, just put him right over there, don't worry we will only shoot when you get out of the way.
They're not.
That thing in the Indian Ocean is Diego Garcia, an atoll that is pretty much a giant American airbase (it's British colony and the natives were expelled when the base was constructed).
The banana-shaped island above Russia is Novaya Zemlya, the place where the Tsar bomb and a bunch of other nukes were tested.
pssh, just kill all the witnesses and you're good
That's not how the world works m8
I don't even know what continent that is, Lol.
Don't you mean geography?
It's Africa, dumbass.
The bodies they bury there don't decompose and some still have the spanish flu on them
Due to the way that specific map is constructed, the more north you get, the more the landmasses appear bigger.
There was a thread on Holla Forums a month about a legitimate blacked out something in the ocean causing waves
Isn't this the island with the most biodiversity on earth?
Morrowind Special Edition is looking pretty good.
lol who cares earth is worthless
We Martians have it made
Mars sucks too, Saturn rules you all remember that.
Uranian master race will gas you all filthy spaceniggers
...
...
But do they cry out in pain?
Europan master race best master race
Only when they strike at you.
...
Well, c couple years ago they had a Catholic bishop as president. Who then was revealed to have fathered children from 6 different women. Who then proceeded to be impeached.
Does anyone else likes to go to Google Maps and drop the little Street View guy on random locations of countries you don't know anything about to see what's there?
Hell yeah. The more of a shithole, the better.
...
Some guy from Holla Forums game nights escaped there because Argentina was collapsing.
woah racist
Is't that where metal gear solid took placec?
You will love this.

JOHNNY NEPTUNE
I already posted it faggot
Don't try to steal my (you)s
lol didn't even see it
They declared war on everyone around them once and lost 70% of their male population as a result.
Also one of their presidents was batshit insane and did stuff like banning marriage unless he was the priest, making prostitution legal because his daughter started whoring herself out and having forced interracial breeding programs.
I also like to drop in yhe middle of nowhere, not even cities. Ive always wondered what was out there in the deepest Siberia and northern Canada. Way out in the frozen tundra. There had to be something out there at some point, those lands (especially Siberia) were livable 12,000 years ago. There's some ruins near the Ural mountains that shouldn't exist because no civilization is recorded as living there.
It says a lot about our mods, which threads get anchored and which don't.
Well this thread isn't technically about Holla Forums, but it was a great thread regardless
why isn't the stupid confession thread anchored
There was a thread on Holla Forums trying to get people to move there… I forget why though
NATO bases in Turkey
That one torture/CIA blacksite in Israel, found because one dude thought there was something there due to an algorithm, and got there where he found a military base
Power stations in the middle of Middle America, in some forests. Hidden to avoid pesky campers
The huge island of plastic bottles in the middle of the Atlantic, around the same coordinates where some old weirdo said magnetic camps showed Atlantis/some populated island should be there
Antarctica scientific stations deep under the international border aka illegal
Bricks are made of clay m8, that's why they are red
Maybe you mean uncooked clay, which is pretty easy to make but tough as fuck to build with when over 5 meters
Our mods are so fucking awful.
Russia has some program where they give you a bunch of land in Siberia, and if you stay a certain amount of time you become a citizen. It would be a great deal of it wasn't frozen tundra incapable of yielding crops. Hey, maybe a pole shift is gonna happen soon and they'll get the last laugh.
That's exactly why they're doing it, they want people to try and develop the land for them.
