I just watched Light Hope die, and I cried, because it made me realize something.Can we talk about Adora and her Mother figures? Not just Shadow Weaver, but Light Hope, Angella, even Mara are all these female authority figures Adora looks up and acquiesces to, telling her what to do, who to be.And one by one, they die on her. And with each death, another part of Adora's foundation, the ground on which she build her identity, crumbles. Until, after even Shadow Weaver dies, every foundation is gone. Every certainty is erased.
