Kubrick

It's just a movie Holla Forums!

It's not real. It's a fucking movie.

What happened to the boat scene?

What are you talking about?

Why did they cut the boat scene?

...

Useless scene.

Where is her daughter going?

Do you mean Kubrick actually thought so or was it a change after his death?

Kubrick actually thought.

What do you think was the original intention then?

Make a short movie.

What was the intention behind making a scene that's useless in hindsight if you want to make a short movie? What was the purpose of the scene before it got cut?

I don't know man. Read the book.

please tell me you have more deleted scenes from eyes wide shut

I came here hoping someone else knew more about it. I read about it online a long time ago and had to search to find the image again. I remember something about there being more outdoor scenes of the family with a riding scene too.

i heard other people had the footage in a torrent online way back in the usenet days. but it was extremely rare. so maybe its still out there somewhere.

The image with the boat is from the "The Stanley Kubrick Archives" book by the way. Maybe there are more relevant shots in it but it's the only one I remember seeing in there, and I don't have a copy myself.

Impossible!

100btc to anyone who can source this footage
