Correctly identifying his weakness would be a problem, except she also has "cosmic awareness" that frequently gives her exactly that sort of information about foes who absorb radiation.This would also put to bed a few annoying ideas: one, that Marvel vs DC has to be really slanted hard for Marvel to stand a chance, and two, that Superman is basically untouchable.And it's true that the Silver Surfer could do the same things as Carol, and with better speed and Durability feats besides, but Carol is a better match, not only because she's better known than Surfer at this point, but Surfer also has a bunch of other powers like matter and energy manipulation that are hard to quantify and put him into a rather different category than Superman. Carol is more broadly the same "type" of Superhero as Superman.
