If you were thinking of "Uncommon Time done right", here it is. It really is incredible how many elements they have in common. Was some spell cast during the development of Stella Glow that created a shadow game? Did someone meme so hard in 2012 that it resulted in Japan and America having the same idea (albeit with drastically different results)? We just don't know.

I never got to finishing that. All I remember was the anthem program was about to start, I had a lot of fun playing the characters that were to defend the gate. When it came to play as the witches I realized I didn't really enjoy playing as those units, and that if it wasn't for the witch songs I probably never would play them outside of sakuya. That or I just don't enjoy wide open maps.

I also enjoyed the Turing robot game or whatever it was, just for the results of the pronoun game alone, and Anonymous Agony was a gem. I am morbidly curious about Asagao Academy, but I'll just have to download that myself if I feel so compelled.

Monty knew how to choreograph fights. That's about it. Some of the worldbuilding was fun, for a while. Oh, the music was really good. Not enough to sell the show on, but it's really nice.

Also, if you're going for the ""best"" ending, be sure to look up the walkthrough, particularly the aodequest section. There's a super easy to miss sidequest with tight deadlines you have to complete or else you can't beat one of the bonus bosses

it is designed that way to force you to grind so that it pads the game length out. Which is why most streamers just use cheat engine or similar to get max stats and infinite health. Not because the game is "hard", but because it takes too long without.
