They also had 3 shows to my memory not including American Dad that would have made the block fine. But they burned off that Tarantula series pretty quick and without much notice so I think they just gave up in general. I'm sure the incident had something to do with it but I doubt it was the primary reason Close Enough was essentially shelved.
