Its literally going to be Japanese Disneyland. Yes, there is a Disneyland in Japan already, but its nowhere near as big as the original Disneyland in Anaheim, California. I feel like Nintendo is going to fullfill that role, because anything with Nintendo slapped onto it Japs will go fucking crazy for.

Likewise, if this becomes big enough, I expect a Nintendo World to open in America too, albeit not as big because Americans wouldn't want to see Disneyland or Disneyworld dethroned by Japanese amusement parks

It's not your brain. It's the games. I helped my friend move house and after we got all the boxes in we cracked one open to try and find vidya stuff. The only vidya stuff we could get was his NES, the controllers, and a Super Mario Bros cart.
We had a great fucking time playing the 2 player mode and trying to outdo each other. I still remember the warp pipes you have to take to get to world 8 in less than 10 minutes, so naturally I won by a landslide once I got used to playing the game again.
And it hit while I was playing it, it's not that I'm getting more cynical or not having fun anymore. It's that modern games are all fucking trash. Too concerned with telling "stories" or being "competitive" so they forget the most important thing about being a video game. And that's being fun.

Universal is now Nintendo's sensei in the theme park business. They've already seen Disney buying out marvel and want to play it safe by operating within Universal Japan and not doing stuff like buying orange groves/swamps like Disney or land in Seattle Washington and/or Austin Texas. Plus CA is already oversaturated with theme parks; so they would be competing with Disney and Legoland(which they're observing alongside Universal).

It will be a long time until we see crazy stuff like Quantum Maglev FZero coasters and rideable pinball(where you sit inside the ball and roll around).

It'll only be Mario and very cringy. I can imagine how it would be during their halloween events they'll most likely just shut down that area because its too juvenile to scare people with

How about a pikmin style space mountain ride that pretends you've been shrunk down to the size of a pikmin, and part of the ride has rear projector screens that play footage of giant people almost stepping on you in the park.

A standalone chao game wouldn't work. You still need the main game attached to it in order to gather materials. Unless it's like viva pinata somehow. Fuck I want a new Viva Pinata.

I kind of agree. I'm not sure exactly why the chao garden was so great, but I know it had to do with it being the second half to an already complete game. I think part of it was due to the comfiness of going into a cute baby animal world after blowing through high-speed life-or-death scenarios. Sega really needs to take a long look at that game and create something from that formula.

Oh, and if they could have a permanent Kirby Café, that'd be just great. Shame I never got to go to the one in Japan.
