Is that a power ranking? I just started playing.
What's the deal with picking someone's level 100+ summon before every mission? That's the only part that doesn't make sense to me. Then it asks me to add the owner to my friends after.

That's pretty typical f2p mobile game stuff. You get to pick a support from another player, and then can add them as a friend.
You get bonuses if someone uses your support. If you're friends, you get extra bonuses.

rarity is just what it implies. R characters are more common than SR characters, SR characters are more common than SSR characters.

Rares are denoted with a bronzeish/reddish background, SRs are denoted with a silver background, and SSRs are deonted with a gold background.

Generally speaking, the higher the rarity, the better the character or summon

Support summons are summons you use to help your party, you get their aura and can call them immediately, no penalty in doing so so don't feel reserved, take the best possible summons at the beginning. The player whose summon you pick get a small rupie bonus when the day refreshes. Friends whom you add, and whom accept your invitation, will be added consistently to your list of support summons. Generally people you don't know won't friend you if you don't have good summons.

It doesn't make sense to me either but removing it would mean needing to rebalance the game. Just go with it and always deny making friend requests because its useless for both sides.

It's pretty useful to mass friend request certain summons if you only play one element and want to ensure you have the right support summon on hand without having to reset the list. I used almost all 50 of my slots to friend Tezcat owners and it definitely cut down on the amount of shuffling I was doing looking for him in the list. I only have to shuffle anymore if I'm actively farming an event and chugging pots.

Playing this a bit more, I think I'm starting to get how the game works. The art is nice and voices. Music and story is okay. Battles are mainly an endurance test with one free Win button. What chapter does the game really pick up?

I want to say somewhere in the late 20's or early 30s, When you meet Lecia and Monica, the games difficulty starts to really ramp up, and choosing party members whose abilities jive well together starts becoming important. You'll probably hit your first wall around 48-52, which seems to be where most people complain about the difficulty of the game being too high, in which case you'll spend many happy months grinding if you aren't driven away by challenge.

Yes I am. At least I have one SSR so I can't complain that much.

She's actually a top-tier SR Wind character, and a waifu pick is pretty much the best thing you can do to enjoy the game.

For quite a while, your best bet is to just equip whatever weapons in your grid that gives you the most total attack (this affects how much each of your characters' attack and HP based on the stats of the weapons) and to specifically have three different elements in your party.

The reason for wanting to use three different elements in your party is because there's a support summon you can pick up called Grand Order which gives 100% (200%) extra passive damage for having three different elements. This will provide more for you than anything else for a long time.

Other than that, just enjoy it because if you want to have a really good party, it's going to take many months of long play. You can treat the game like an MMO to devote a bunch of time to the grind, or just something to check and poke at for a while every day or so.

You probably make about 6000-8000 crystals a month once you exhaust those mines. You'll start looking at your trophies for crystals and looking to complete event dailies that pop up to give crystal rewards.

you are too bent on wanting to maximize his third and you are overlooking the rest of his set . six will ALWAYS double attack he has 2 stacking atk up one reliant on not being hit while the others isn't ofc it's in your interest trying to defend it but it's not necessary

also mirror images works on any ougi that isn't aoe (or multihit and hits six a lot)

the only real problem of six is honestly the lack of synergy with bahamut sword since you are bound to farm a baha dagger

double sylph is pretty much a guarantee it will appear. most people get their rabbits by their 4th carrot drop. never heard of anyone actually trading in their carrots for one but some unlucky guy did get 7 carrots before a rabbit.

Even if you're too weak to do jack shit you can host raids, do what you can and donate the meat you get so we can fight NIGHTMARE++ or whatever, you can join those and leech.

When you have at least half of your current summon boost % in raw magna skills.

If you have a 40% summon you want at least 20% to switch to a magna summon because MLB magna summons make their magna weapon skills x2.

Mixed summons aside which are often the optimal setup, wouldn't you want more boost % in magna than whatever the summon grants you in order to switch or double magna?

double magna setup are utterly retarded unless you are fighting on weak element it's always better elemental damage and one magna

Ideally you want to have the same raw skill % to change to a magna summon but some people prefer switching before if they have dual skills and a fully leveled mlb summon.

Magna summon+elemental support summon is better.

you are in a strange spot…. ayer and cog make your dirt team BUT you have ferry literally the core of light in my opinion you should work on your earth team since you also have gimli and airi but if eventually the gacha will be merciful on you you could switch to light …. summon wise you have to try uncap marduk for the rest i see nothing amazing (grande teams are a fucking pain to build)

The number on the silver star is supposed to be a rough representation of the power level.
You can see your power level on the main page.

go to menu and check your power level if it somehow matches the number you should be able to clear it (that number is misleading but if you didn't skill up shit it's somewhat reliable)

Reroll, is incredibly easy to get a decent star know that you get 8 maximum level weapon tickets from first 4 chapters and for doing missions on the first 2 pinboards plus if you register with DMM you gill get a free SSR character if you login the first 8 day's in a row.
