I've played a little bit. The dialogue is either translated poorly or just poorly written. The combat is pretty simple, but I think the actual platforming/exploration might be good if I could get into it.

Solid metroidvania style exploration and decent difficulty curve (On normal). You will likely die a couple times on later platforming and some of the shmup parts, but nothing rage inducing.

definitely GOTY, but that's not saying much. It's one of the like 3 games I actually cared enough to complete in 2016.

Artstyle is good and lewd, but unfortunately lewd is about as good as it gets. I think the game is advertised as being a "bullet hell metroidvania". It gets the bullet hell part right, because the game is basically walking to the next cutscene to trigger the next boss fight.
It's a fun game in its own right, but don't actually buy it. I think there's a good download link on Nicoblog.

i'm not normally a platform/bullet hell person, and i usually drop games i don't like in 20minutes, but i got some weeks of fun and music out of this
i only stopped because i killed some bat-witch off-screen, after slogging through fuckton of monsters after a checkpoint
shit bugged out, i did it all over again, and i couldn't figure out where i was supposed to go afterwards
