Being an Ape Escape fan is suffering

At least Metroid and Mega Man get attention for their raping, meanwhile Sony gets a free pass for this.

They didn't even mentioned anything about the series at the PSX event despite the tweet about the year of the monkey.

I loved the first game, but never got around to playing 2 & 3. I finally got my PS2 softmodded recently and I almost don't want to play them because after that it's over.

At least the minigames are fun, 2 has soccer

Maybe they'll make a sequel for PSVR with real net swinging action.

Also, there's a PSP spin off called Big Mission where it features the characters from 2 and 3.

You play as a monkey being controlled by Spike and you must rescue his friends

Million Monkeys seems to be more about action and 2001 has Spike cleaning dirty monkey pants

Maybe if it feels like a mainline game where there's platforming and you play as Spike

A series that could work with VR is Jumping Flash since it's first person platforming

please no

Just gonna have to learn to deal with it. Then again, there might be hope since all Sony shits out are remakes.

I heard Parappa getting one might be because of his 20th birthday, maybe we'll have to wait for 3 years until Ape Escape gets a remake.

Imagine is Ape Escape was popular enough at the point we got shit like this:

Am i missing something?

i mean "if"

But that's just a theory.
A game theory

HAHAHHAHAHAHA

What if Ape Escape was realistic?

Or modernized Ape Escape into a MOBA/Esports Shooter.

We'll even call it: Ape Escape: Planet of the Apes

Reddit would love it. Think of all the Harambe references they could make.

FUCK

WHERES THE YUMI PORN

It's all just the same stuff from Om

...

Is there more information about her mobile game?

I've heard the same on a game based on AE1 with Spike

Apparently the name of the game is "Sayaka's Great Adventure" it was released for Sony mobiles in 2008. Sadly i think there is no way to get the game anymore, since back then they were using their own OS and store.

here you go you lewd bastard

i like the idea or a 2d Ape Escape

I think the game was actually released for the Yahoo Games Service which closed on May of this year, we actually just missed the chance to get the game by mere months. Maybe we can locate it somewhere but it would take lots of effort

I wonder if it would be possible to rip sprites from that game and Ape Escape M (the one with Spike)

If you want a game about chasing niggers and capturing them for your own amusement, why don't you just play farcry?

So are they all 3 worth playing, is there a black sheep of the bunch or are they all solid? I'm starting to emulate shit again, have a pretty big backlog since I never owned a PS2 growing up.

2 is said to be a black sheep but can still be enjoyable, even if its flaws can be big

Alright, I'm not too terribly picky so I'll probably give them all a try before the year is over with since I see the board talk about this series pretty consistently. Thanks.

...

The saddest part about TLOU is how many people liked it

...

Has anyone ever tried something in Unity or a flash game?

I've seen Scratch stuff but i won't waste time on that shit.

I'll be honest, fam, I liked it. Then again, I played it with friends so there were sweet bantz to mask the stench of Hollywood.

They had their chance to do that with PS Move Ape Escape. The original game was made to show off the PS1's new controller, this could have been made to show off the new Move controller. Imagine using the move to swing the net or club. You could point to move the RC Car and twirl it to use the helicopter and hula hoop. Half the games on Move already use them for slingshots and shit, so that's obvious.

Instead they made a rail shooter.

It would be Planet of the Apes.

Why would anyone say 2 is worse? It's the same as the first but with way more to do. I'd say 3 is worse than 2 because it's easier difficulty makes it feel shorter despite having more monkeys. Of course, all three are great. Pumped and Primed is alright too. 2001 and Million Monkeys seem at least as good as Pumped and Primed but will never ever be released in NA.

Sony manages to treat their IPs worse than Nintendo. Let that sink in. That is why PSASBR has such a lack luster roster.

And people are fine with it, another thing is how lesser known IP's are more creative/better than more popular ones.

HEY FUCKOS
WHO'S READY TO GO TO SPACE

Anyone even tried playing this?

No.

I don't understand why Ape Escape is so much bigger in Japan, but they seem to care nothing about the gameplay. Is it so hard for them to do a real game instead of these retarded spinoffs? Do they seriously not think more people would be interested in a full game instead of a shitty minigame collection?

It's a playstation move game? That sucks, but the thing just oozes classic ape escape vibe that I wouldn't mind playing it.

This reminds me of Rayman.

Ape Escape fell into it long before Rayman.

...

even if they made a new ape escape there won't be any lolibutt or fun yumi costumes anymore

Pipo Snake is the best snake.

Don't say such things

At least Ray Man was saved from the Rabbid spin offs
