Without it, we get shit like were anons believe they're policing and moderating the board by themselves, but end up filling the place with meta-posts everywhere.
I got about 12 tabs open, and there's at least one meta-post in each of them. On a best case scenario, the post is mostly ignored or only has one or two responses.
On the worst scenario, it's reponded to too much and spirals a normal thread into a meta-thread by itself.
Worse for popular games/threads where more users flock to, increasing the ammount of meta-posters in equal measure.

My advice is to allow them but in moderation because some of those things are flat-out unavoidable, especially when talking about more tertiary things pertaining to video games like Game Grumps.
