FF15 is actually the rare case of a truly, utterly bad game. This isn't just Holla Forums's contrarian nature. The game plays poorly, as shown by the two widely available demos. The story is nonsensical and stilted, as seen by the streams from last week, which was its only hope.

They entire game is now a forward investment to the FF7 remake. That shows how poorly SE thinks it will be received.

In Kingdom Hearts, the villains want to attain spiritual darkness for a nerfarious plan to attain immortality. In FF15, the bad guy wants to cause literal eternal night for no real reason, because he's mean.

Kingdom Heart has better writing than Final Fantasy. This is hard to write, because I just replayed FF7, which is actually incredibly well written.

This, I played the demo, which was less a game demo and more of a tech demo since it put a lot of emphasis on changing the time of day and weather effects. The combat was sloppy as fuck and the obnoxious narration telling me about this kid's relationship with his dad was disgusting. Nothing about this game has ever been appealing.

Im surprised that Im actually enjoying FFXV. I didn't enjoy the demos and only got the game so i could do a day 1 first impressions stream because i was asked to. But 14 hours into the game and im still wanting to keep playing.

Cindy looks like fucking garbage. She is only appealing because the rest of the game is even shittier by comparison.

If you could read niprunes on a basic level you'd know this is a comparison between prerendered and real time model. Don't remember either of them getting downgraded at any point.
