Metal gear solid 2 came out 15 years ago today

...

whats that is it good?

its literally the worst game ever made

nah its over rated as fuck, its the worst metal gear game

the fact that it intentionally subverted everyone's expectations of being MGS 1 but better makes it one of the most noteworthy post-modern art pieces in video game history

...

15 years and people still barely agree what it was meant to be about.

wrong, its shit and antisemitic

...

Information control. It fucking tells you what it's about before the Solidus fight. If this is hard to understand then you're a special kind of dumb nigger

Thank you for proving my point

Information control is the primary theme dumb nigger, it's not hard to understand. The main story is also not hard understand provided you ignore Cuckjimas retcons to it in further games.

MGS2 is an okay story prequel to MGR.
It has couple cool scenes and concepts, but it hardly works as a standalone experience.

Wrong, the story and the theme of information control is only part of the overall message portrayed in the game's story, it's gameplay, and even the pre-release information.

Hint: It's got to do with bad sequels

MGS4 proved how far up incompetent creak he was. They only reason anons believe there was anything deeper was because MGS1 was written so well. From which mgs1 was edited by a third party to make sense compared to the shit Kojima spews from his brain. Seeing anons say mgs2 was somehow deeper is like seeing star wars faggots who liked ep. 1-3 as a well thought out story.

He's gone on record that he didn't want to work on that game. It's hard to actually give a shit when you're only reason for being there is because of intense fan backlash.
The meaning of it's story never changed, it was just properly localized and not a more direct translation like in later games.

hint: you're both wrong, it's about one's expectation of reality and what defines one's reality
