Quake I'd agree with, but not the others.
So im playing doom 1 with doom4d on nightmare [because the doom3d guns are overpowered anyway].
Obviously im losing all my unlocks and stuff every time i start a new episode, is there any way to retain my weapons and unlocks/cash between episodes desu.

No, episodic games back then were a start to 0 each time, if you wanna make it continuous, you got to use a changemap cheat like changemap in zdoom's console
