The issue I've been discussed is not that our using our own steel is somehow bad. Of course we need to be producing as much of every resource by ourselves, for ourselves as possible. The problem these tariffs can create will be that we can't meet all our steel demands with domestic sources alone. We have to import a certain amount to meet that demand.

I have been thinking of cutting off Europe for a while now. Mainly because of Germany, France and the UK. They rarely ever pay their VAT/Customs fees and are the only countries that ever claim non receipt of an item. I end up losing a lot on the expensive cost of shipping to them.
