Even though hosting is usually at their loss, the power of media alone is well worth their shekels. If we can somehow convince a sizable portion to consider another site as at least something to use alongside Youtube if not as a replacement, we can gain a platform to spread our message. We should keep consider these two important points;
1. What alternatives to Jewtube are currently present? Which ones are biggest? What content do they primarily cover? How accessible are they? And do they have any kikes or cucks standing behind their curtains?
2. Should we find an effective challenger to Youtube's monopoly, what can be done to avoid the fate of previous failed alternatives like Vidme, or from being subverted?
For the purposes of having a starting point, I submit vidlii.com/ as one possible choice. Its nostalgic design inspiration to the Youtube of the 2000s gives it an easily recognizable basis, but it could possibly turn off potential Normalfags by appearing primitive.

One way to deal with all of this censorship would be to decentralize social media and video hosting. You want your social media or video seen, you host it. Even then you will still have the same problem of being shut down but they would need to go for your hosting service or ISP which is much more time consuming and harder than just hitting a report button on twitbook or jewtube.
With videos in webm it could certainly be made less costly but it would still be expensive if someone were to become popular enough to have millions or even hundreds of thousands of views.
Creating a web ring for similar interests like sites did in the late 90s early 2000s could get things started but you still will have to deal with the possibility of being removed from the ring and needing to start a new ring from time to time as new agenda driven members subvert and take over like they always will.

Minor moderation, just to keep the illegal stuff down, direct donation capability to bypass Patreon & other tyrannical funding sites, and sell advertising to anyone but degenerates.

I've wondered if a general vid hosting site couldn't take a leaf out of porn streaming sites' books and have "tokens". You buy then from the site for 10 cents each, and give them to creators you like. Those creators can redeem them for 1 cent each, and also offer donors extra / exclusive content etc. Just do that with vids that stay online and no porn. If it gets big enough it could self-fund, no need for ads at all (but have them anyway, so enemies will waste time attacking a revenue stream you don't really need)

It used to be that anyone could self host their shit, the flooding of the masses has ruined that and now only major players are capable of handling the traffic and paying the costs. I don't see a serious long term competitor to YouTube ever emerging until a polished distributed file-sharing network goes mainstream.
BitTorrent is the most successful implementation of this but its too limited, I think IPFS is the only thing that comes close enough. While its devs shouldn't be trusted, the infrastructure and design seem sound to me. In terms of YouTube competition the only video hosting platform using IPFS that I'm aware of is d.tube/ I haven't used it much but it appears to work pretty well, the only problem with it is the weird crypto thing they use to motivate others to host he videos.
IPFS is cool, but there is no magic. Someone needs to seed the files, and your browser cannot permanently store huge files (local storage is limited to 50MB on most browsers), so seeding through the app directly is not possible as of today. While my first idea was to ask some witnesses to run some IPFS nodes, it became clear after a few conversations that this would create more problems than solutions as most witnesses are non-technical persons and running and configuring an IPFS node correctly seems to be a tough challenge for most.

The way I see it, if a private tracker can force its user base to seed shit if they want to download shit, there is no reason the technology can't be expanded to allow for streaming as well. In exchange for rehosting content you view, the admin no longer needs to depend on advertising to keep things operating. If advertising is no longer required, content is no longer removed to appease them. It suddenly becomes possible for anyone to host a competing platform without having to rely on (((them))) to keep the lights on.

You can actually seed from a torrent client when you upload to dtube, and the more people that watch the video, the faster the load times for the end users.
Uploading without seeding is a crapshoot though, because you could come to find the video doesn't exist anymore after a while.
