Kingdom Hearts has a foundation of gameplay, it's going to be a mix of every game so far minus CoM and the Command Deck, just KH2 with more shit.
From what I heard, it's still floaty like BBS' gameplay but with the overall style of KH2 with enemies actually getting staggered and not being DODGE ROLL TO WIN, if 0.2 is at all what 3 will be.
Final Fantasy is just trying to copy Kingdom Hearts but failing miserably by trashing it's own gameplay in favor of shallow press X to win gameplay that shows they have no idea what made Kingdom Hearts good in the first place. FF7 remake will most likely follow this path.
