My only thought on any sort of 4d chess type scenario would be if Trump states this ratings system bullshit, only to come around in a couple days to say that the ratings system already exists and already places realistic violence near the top in terms of what bumps up the rating of a game quickly and then switching it all around by making the point of parenting and family in cases of troubled young men. The ratings system, and thus government regulation, doesn't work if the smallest circle of modern society, the core family unit, can't look after their children. That's the only thing I can see happening with this that is anything approaching a non-retarded stance when it comes to violent video games. However that's still flimsy because it's not going to take any forward pressure from the anti-gun crowd in the wake of Florida, and it's not a big enough issue that enough people would see it as the main cause. Perhaps I'm just not seeing other angles now.

I don't know if there's much that can be done. A leader would have to come out and say that we can enact harm reduction policies like looking at mental health, better understanding the side effects of various medications, and arming teachers/armed security/police at schools, but these things will always be a dark fact of American life. America is unique in freedom of speech (true freedom, no hate speech laws of most other first world countries. That being important because hate speech laws show that the state in question can develop thought crimes and arrest civilians for what they think and not what they do) and the expansive freedom to bear arms as granted by the second amendment. Those two are not mutually exclusive as the second protects the first.

I worked at GameStop for years and I can tell you for a fact that the most popular game with kids under 18 were all M rated. Call of Duty and Grand Theft Auto were constantly brought to the counter by some grade schooler with an attitude who always got pissy and angry when we had to turn them away and tell them to come back with their parents. Parents who, if they even spoke english, would usually ignore us and sneer at us for telling them their kid wants a game with lots of violence and shooting in it… But what were the alternatives? Nintendo is pretty much the only company still making games that are kid friendly. The other alternative is sports games, which I'm not happy about either, because that just teaches kids to worship Tyrone, exactly like the kikes want.

And yeah, porn is a fucked up thing for kids to get into also, but avoiding 3D porn usually leads some kids to become autists who fap to cartoon network.. Well, not always, but is there anything more pitiful than some faggot whose first waifu came from Nickelodeon or some awful pixar movie? In all cases, regulating these things is more trouble than it's worth. It's the classic situation of recognizing a problem and letting people jump to the conclusion that the government needs to be the one to fix it.

Fuck that noise. Instead of making porn and vidya violence more taboo and thus more attractive to stupid little kids, the best alternative is to adjust the culture. As always, we need better parents and a better sense of responsibility. It can't just be one of those things where people just shrug and say, "well, what can you do?" – No. Fuck that. It needs to not only be uncool to be a hands off parent. It needs to be shameful again. It needs to be the kind of thing that makes people want to hide from the public because it makes them look like such a sack of shit who doesn't deserve to breathe, let alone have a family.

tl;dr - This shit is actually a problem, one which the kikes have a vested interest in milking, but giving the government more power isn't the solution. Social change away from the kike's schemes to enforce degeneracy upon kids (especially through interracial porn) gives the best long term results.

But it's all part of the symptoms. In healthy societies where relationships worked and there was a common culture in place and people who looked out for eachother and punished bad behaviour, shit like this didn't happen.

on a honest take people will always find another thing to laze around and dodge any kind of activity that requires physical effort.Even if you ban vidya and tv they will go and play some tabletop shit. the problem runs deeper than just entertainment mediums, murica is lazy and when everybody is overweight because all they eat is junk food, they definitely won't go do outside activities if they can opt for something that doesn't need them to strain their knees for distraction, they will go for it.
