All bait aside, Stslker is pretty overrated. Tarkfags will try to tell you that it's SOO DEEP when really it's just a simple heart of darkness story. Moreover it completely fails to set up the Zone the way the book does, leaving the viewer with no idea of the risks the characters run and thus no sense of suspense. It's nolan-tier cinema at best, definitely not kino.
