Post mains

mains

So is SFV any better at all? I haven't touched it since the fiasco where they patched in a rootkit.

No, it didn't get any better.

KoF XIV PC ver when
VF5:FS PC ver when
New SamSho when

No. It never EVER will get better.

Fuck, you reminded me how they made her complete shit in 5.

Goddamn I just wanna play Street Fighter, but 4 is dead and 5 deserves to be dead.

NEVER EVER

So I have a reason to play it. I've had a SF itch for months but it's just a shitty game.

Why do you want SFV to get better?

Play 3S on FightCade.

Why do you absolutely want to play SF?
We have one of the biggest FG line up during this decade.

But SamSho isn't dead it's most likely gonna be the next fighting game series SNK revives and it's 90% most likely gonna be the next series that gets a PS4/Vita port.

Basically I want USF4 to come back.

Is there a site that shows all the upcoming events in a nice layout.

And why are koreans so good at fighting games, even sfv which is least popular in korea is dominated by infiltration

Because I legitimately enjoy the game and I feel that, with a few minor tweaks, it could be much better.

I can't even improve I'm so bad.

That's me in fightcade.
-first a series of getting your ass caught ducking in the corner
-then being able to crap out a low jab when an opponent ends a combo
-then finally getting some ground against them and being a total scrub

I don't know what happens next

What games do you guys play, and who are mains? Maybe we can help you out.

when will Ono-san commit seppuku

I don't think that's the case.
I don't think any "minor tweeks" will help this game, this series or even this company.

...

They really fucked themselves on this one.

Same answer.

Same answer.

I fucked up my upload. I'm sad.

reminder that every vanilla SF is shit

I don't think SFV would have met sales expectations even if it was a decent game.

The fighting game audience is reasonably small, but capcom tried to market to a wider market, and failed because most people are filthy casuals. SFV failed because it's not call of duty.

Arcsys and SNK have the right idea to make good games aimed at a niche audience. I pray that neither company ever gets rich enough to need to increase their rate of profit by appealing to a wider audience.

Bad posture?

The first revisions of most fighting games are shit.

Street Fighter always sold pretty well to casual audiences. More than half of the people who bought USF4 never went online with it.

I don't know what the fuck Capcom was trying to do. They try to make the game more accessible for casuals by making it about simple footsies to try to ease people into it, but the casuals don't like it because there's no single player content besides a literal pencil sketch story mode with like three fights and survival that's 29 rounds of braindead bullshit followed by an input reading Terminator AI of a Bison, and simple footsies is absolutely smothering to play against when you're new. There's no single player content because they released it early for muh Capcom Pro Tour for the tourneyfags even though USF4 was originally intended to go one more year. The tourneyfags don't like it because it's a half finished game with boring characters and stumpy normals and a tiny roster. Who was their audience? Is anyone planning anything, or is the entire company just brainless reflex responding to whatever poked them last?

vgchartz.com/game/82694/mortal-kombat-x/
vgchartz.com/game/71001/injustice-gods-among-us/
I could put Tekken, but the last one was released in 2012. I have no doubt Tekken 7 will break the 1M mark.

And what's the best one? Sitting on a eSport chair?

...

Sign 1.0 was pretty bad.

Schyzophrenic approach. You wanna make the game really, really accessible, but you also wanna transform it into an eSport.
I still think USF4 is shit, like any SF4 version. But the scene wanted to play USF4 more. Instead of that, Capcom rushed an unfinished product that was never supposed to exist. Remember, the project Ono wanted to do with it was DarkStalkers 4. Not SFV.

Are we talking arcade vanilla version or console vanilla version?
Either way, both of them can be patched post-launch.

Compared to fps, moba, WoW, whatever players, serious fighting game fans aren't that numerous.

They were patched, but once it's patched it's not really the first revision anymore. I guess that's a stupid distinction to try to make.

I'm glad Asian players are starting to embrace streaming. TopGaren, Daru I-no, and Mikado all going right now. If only I knew moon.

And compared to mobile games, FPS and MOBA players aren't that numerous.
MKX had the best start on sales in 2015 on consoles.

Yeah. That makes fighting games even more niche.

Fighting games are probably more niche then strategy fans. I've met plenty of strategy fans, and legitimately one other person who plays fighting games.

If the ausfag with the local GG scene in the thread, which town you in. No gay shit I just want to see if it's smaller than mine or not.

Do you know how many genres can be called "niche" in video games?

Probably not the guy you're talking about but my scene in Melb is pretty good, have monthly tournaments and fortnightly casuals.

Because gaming is mostly niche.
The only non-niche gaming genres are FPS and MOBAs.

Melbourne is not a town. It's also infested with the SJ mindset which is sad, it's got some neat shit. Friend just moved back home after getting saddled with the fallout of one top member of the young libertarians being a former neo-nazi and the other a fucking embezzling jackass Fighting games are dead here, the town barely existed in the arcade era and now everything is COD clones or MOBAs.

All of them should be considered niche for developers. I would rather a developer cater towards genuine fans of a genre rather than attract new fans by shitting all over it and trying to make it mainstream.

Capcom needed to sell out and turn sf into something everyone played(bought), rather than just traditional fans.

When a medium dev team (let's call it "simple A" for the sake of being clear) makes a FPS or a MOBA, they can be sure that it'll gather people and sell well the game, because it can work.
You can't do the same on fighting games and on tons of other genres.

What's your point?

Basically, if it's not supported by a big IP, it'll be hard to have mainstream FGs again.

I hate the internet

That's a good thing if they stay niche, but if either SNK or arcsys get big enough they will need to go mainstream in order to keep their profits coming in. Hopefully they don't.

Wait, what?

to stop people cheating themselves the dlc outfits.

There's only 2 societies that can produce AAA FGs and none of them are Capcom.
It's Warner Bros and Bandai Namco.

Hasn't that been out for a while now?

just because they have a comprehensive story mode doesn't mean the game is good

archive.is/FGwpZ

Why would you do this? The people that would willingly buy Ports that can be easily emulated are already a small group. Why make it even smaller?

Why didn't you update Goy, didn't you want to play Killer Instinct? DX12 Only, hope you have the appropriate video card!!

SFV program installed a malware that is an open door for everything malicious that can be brought to your PC.
youtu.be/IcH89Eh_KDU?t=35m58s

Says the Goyim that installed malware to play Street Fighter.

Are there any good cheap/f2p fighters that I can play on PC with a keyboard? The only fighter I have ever put any time into was smash so I have little to no fighting game knowledge.

try again, I only play V at locals and god is that game boring, I'm actually turning to BB because of how dull V is

Ok, you don't like Mortal Kombat, then. Good to know, user.

They're all anime nerds so I'm not worried, SFV is surprisingly the minority at those locals. Melty is king over there.

fuck Tech, I need to go to Yomi

...

I thought you were going to say Arc System Works… But you said Warner bros.

Christ.

Keyboard isn't that awful for fighters generally, user. Check out the OP for fightcade.

I also said AAA.

...

fixed

...

It was a joke based on things they'd never do. At least, I hope they never make it Windows 10 exclusive.

Who the fuck am I kidding, I still stream from my Windows desktop.

...

Stallman-sama-senpai-chan, no please, don't hurt me! Think of the sugois!

I wanna see a real fighting+game, one day.

Which state are you in? I know there's local meetups in every city along the east coast and Adelaide but if you live too far out you'd probably only go to the bigger events. There's actually a Tasmanian tournament starting up soon I believe.

Warner bros makes AAA budget games for A- quality. Arcsys is the other way around, for now.

they know Super SFV is coming.

I think they're gonna pump out a "GOTY Edition" with all the DLC then announce that you can pre-order the second season pass like a good goy the same day

Never heard of this Hamster. At least is not DotEmu but it's hard to believe this is not just a glorified ROM like that humble bundle.

Also, DotEmu keep releasing titles for Steam, so I believe KOFXIV will come to that platform with really low specs to get that brazilian and mexican money.

In other news, Harada wants to fuck up SamSho just like he did with Tekken7: archive.is/8mYds

Their ports are really great, much better than DotEmu. Some have stuff like arcade ambiance noises, optional filters and multiple boarders. The Neo Geo ports even let you should between the censored US versions or uncensored JPN versions, they just don't have online features so there is not reason to play them over fightcade emulation.

Please no. I don't want Bandai Namco to poison other companies' franchises.

What's so bad about Tekken 7? I'm at least 5 games out of the loop.

Oh wait,

Really hope a new SamSho doesn't turn into that, or just a shitty Soul Calibur. Why the fuck were sprites abandoned? I like KoFXIV, but wish it was still sprites.

Harada's staying a dreamer because SNK already has their own plans for SamSho IIRC. At best Namco could help fund and publish it but they'll never sell the rights.

I haven't played Tekken 7, I was just want Bandai Namco nowhere near other companies' IPs after all the Denuvo and censorship shit they been pulling

Because HD sprites for fighting games are extremely expensive and it take months to animate one character. It's just not financially feasible anymore especially for a company like SNK and games with massive roster sizes like KoF.

I wish I had the article saved listing the costs for KoF XIII's characters and the development time for each, then you'd understand why XIII had so many corner cuts and why they moved to 3D with XIV

Sprites are more expensive than 3d models and harder to iterate on.

Interesting. I assumed it was cost, but wasn't sure. thanks anons.

For some reason I'd be ok with that.

I have good/bad news.

I don't know much about Harada. Is he just a man with bad ideas, or is he just a shit person overall?

He's better than Ono.

...

He's a nice guy, he's just a pig-head.

I live down the road from the Katter household. Townsville probably has meet ups, but every time I've seen anyone try start a community here it's died because they didn't promote hard enough and reach for players. I will be trying in the uni break but at the moment maths and science is busting my ass.

What are the differences between the Arcade and PS2 version of pic related?

I was asking why koreans were dominating sfv, kof98um, and tekken 7:fr despite the small player pool but okay

Pros: Don't have to use steam
Cons: Have to use W10
JUST

3D also makes it so much easier to make bikini to sell to horny kids

Dear God no, we already had abortion called SS Sen, i seriously hope SNK doesn't revert to their full retard mindset and actually go with it

SFV killed the SF hype.

This is written from the perspective of the arcade version to the PS2 version:
Older graphics and sound board, so weaker graphics and the OST sounds a bit more primitive (I prefer it over the Arranged OST though), inability to play as Unknown (without hacks), no Tekken Bowl mode, not all arcade cabinets have a 4 person 2v2 tag option, no 1v1 character mode, inability to play as a Kazuya/Angel tag team, no character endings (it's not like they were anything special on the PS2 version so you're not missing out).

Also, some moves were better/worse or had different properties in the different versions, but fuck me if I remember any or if I can find a list of them.

Good luck user. Remember there are probably people out there that wish there was a place for them to hang out and play fighting games.

I wonder is it because they like to play him or they are the "traps aren't gay" types.

A.B.A never ever

Probably later mixed in with the "if he's more popular we get more porn" crowd

>In other news, Harada wants to fuck up SamSho just like he did with Tekken7: archive.is/8mYds
I can already imagine him barging into the SNK office and start trying to bully the devs like he did with the SC team - "You'll put me in your game with Jin's move set and I'll be top tier!" - and they'll flatly tell him to go fuck himself.

It's nice that Harada is very reluctant to jewing people but he's kind of a douche and probably has a terminal case of Idolmasteritis.

...

...

I would love to play Bridget more than any other character not in xrd, and I have no desire for penis or anything. I know Baiken is the current favourite, and also most likely to be added next, but she doesn't seem as fun as Bridget would be.

it functions pretty well offline now, though. Which is a plus.

How did we get to the point where SNK made excellent netcode while capcom is shitting their pants?

Doesn't apply for ST.

Get the fuck out of that thread.

Party mode worked perfectly at launch and after the patch everything else worked great.

The netcode for SFV's several betas was pretty good actually. Don't know what happened.

KI has a godlike netcode. But it's obviously bad, because muh xbox and notstreetfighter.

Trying to rush the game out before EVO for esports bucks fucked the whole game over. They should have left it in the oven for one more year.

I hear KI in general is pretty great, too bad I can never play because;

Fucking right? The betas were perfect. I want that shit back.

KI's netcode is god tier.

Agreed, one more year of SF4 and a complete SFV in 2017 would've been ideal. Especially if it was Omega SF4

I FUCKING DON'T GET IT HOW DID THEY FUCK UP SO BAD

prease undurstando

Don't worry, it probably looked completely fine on the other guy's end and he's laughing about what a shitter you are.

No I demand an explanation. I was just fighting a Guile as Ken, and his cr.HK is somehow safe on block, but mine isn't? You're telling me Juri's cr.HK is shorter than Chun Li's st.HP?

I demand to know why they fucked up Street Fighter like this.

Wasn't Ono basically a guy doing stage backgrounds for SF3, or am i just imagining things?
If so, how did someone like him manage to get in charge of an entire game development?

It was sound department.

And he was the only one pushing for it.

I will never understand people that fucking hate the game but still keep playing it anyway. Is branching out, and trying shit that isn't SF so fucking scary?

Is wanting a decent SF so fucking weird?

Those already exist, go fucking play those then

Oh yeah sure I'll just sit there and repeatedly press "search again" while it looks for a match that'll never happen.

Classic Capcom management.

But Koihime Enbu came out months ago?

Wait, is it actually good? Do people actually play it?

That's the scope of your fighting game experience? Sitting in ranked all day looking for random shitters to fight?

Yes. No

No, the scope of my fighting game experience is getting into USF4 a year before it died, then switching over to Killer Instinct and enjoying it a great deal before the Shadow Lords patch fucked something up with fightsticks, and now being stuck with no other fighting game to play and no local scene because of this libshit town that hates video games.

Fightstick issue is probably fixable, or at least circumventable. And unless you're incredibly fucking lazy all the platforms to interact with communities are just a couple of clicks away. You don't have to play SFV if you don't want to, I haven't touched it in 6 months yet still play fighting games almost daily.

...

Nice meme.

The fightstick issue is probably fixable, though from what I could find, it just seems to be an issue with the Shadow Lords patch, and it doesn't appear to be fixable yet.

Fuck you, Ono.

...

...

Oh shit, do they really? I had no idea. SNK's been based as fuck, would be neat if they could somehow pull it off.

It's sold 1.1m copies, lad. The 100k news was that was how many new units were shipped since January this year.

Then how do you explain online being all but completely dead?

Wrong, it has sold 1,4 mil units.
What is the case though, is that Capcom's latest financial report shows it hasn't sold more than 100k copies since last April and they wanted to have 2 mil units shipped by March 31st. In other words, it's a colossal failure either way.

The game sucks.

I'm so glad to hear someone else agrees. The level of cuckery Capcucks go to sometimes is unbearable.

Croagunk might be my new secondary ,either that or Darkrai

darn, was hoping for this guy to be a very close range poker who could do poison damage. Pokken for switch when

Kedako Kumite is on, only stream is in some disgusting wall language though

twitch.tv/x_revolution

Oh that was the grand finals

Reumes tomorrow I guess

...

not until TxSF, anyway

Is Tekken 3D: Prime Edition on 3DS worth playing?

If only it was just Capcucks. It's worst than that.
In fact, a bigpart of the FGC are Capcucks. The game installed a glorified door to every viruses and other programs that can destroy your PC and people still buy and play the game on Steam.

Who should I main in Soku?

Cirno because she is the strongest apparently

Capcucks are honestly worse than smash players now.

Weird because I'm playing Dark Souls 3 right now, and it feels pretty finished to me but there's still invaders and shit.

If you want portable tekken and you don't have a psps/vita, yeah it's bretty good. Also DoA: Dimensions is also surprisingly good for a fighter on the 3ds

"Oh my god, shut the fuck up and play Guilty Gear."

...

Season 3 looks really ugly even with the best graphics settings, balance is pretty fucked up (Gargos), and I think a patch or two ruined some inputs iirc. None of the characters from Season 3 look good out of Eydol, and the customization is a complete joke this season.

People expressed their concerns about KI to Keits, and he was butt–hurt about it.

Holy fuck I wasn't the only one that noticed it. My Jago combos are godtier every time, and suddenly after Shadow Lords comes out, I drop combos, don't even get locked out when I try to combo break and fail, etc.

new T7 character reveal when?

Harada's only decent Tekken game was 5. Please keep him away from SamSho.

Tekken 7 isn't even good, and most of the Tekkens he made are really hit or miss (Believe it or not, some older Tekken players hate wavedashing and juggle fests the recent games have become).

Bad soundtrack (Really bad Dubstep)
Retarded super moves
Akuma kinda ruined Tekken, and is back to bullshit mode despite getting nerfs from an old patch
New characters out of Shaheen suck (Claudio is okay).
Chloe and Gigas are trash tier, and replaced established characters like the Capos and Marduk
No Kuma
Shitty balance (Vanilla was "Shaheen and Mishimas or fuck off;" FR is Steve or fuck off).
Vanilla 7 didn't use the Unreal engine to its potential
Bruce got replaced by a Filpina tranny that's way too annoying to use (Josie)
Some alternate costumes suck (Paul, Hwaorang)

Harada and Mike Murray have been acting like butt-hurt bitches when people criticize Tekken 7. I remember calling out Mike on his bitching when no one including Cristina Vee wouldn't suck his dick.

Forgot to add that two of the super moves were literally copy & pasted from Soul Calibur 5 (Josie and Devil Jin's). Nope, I'm not joking.

Harada is that much of a hack, and doesn't deserve the reverence the fighting game community gives him. He's also a smug ass-hole.

IG wanted to fix the game that dropped some frames on some stages. Now, the game's competitive, no matter the stage you play. Not just Devil's Pit.

He had good nerfs on the last patch. His minions aren't that busted now.

Every KI players I know keep saying that people sleep on Kim Wu and Tusk. Rash is considered to be super fair and super strong. Arbiter was on a lot of Top 8 during S3.

Tastes.

Yeah, devs that does a hard work and gets whines and unfair critics about their games are the worst.

Considering that Josie's one were remade on FR and that the Vanilla one was obviously a placeholder, yes, you're joking.

Alex never

Fuck off Ono.

Go away, Keits

Being a placeholder only proves how half-assed and shit Vanilla Tekken 7 was.

No.

Go fix SFV you fucking faggot.

Buy my dlc, or I'll take away your only chance at making a living out playing my shitty games and smoking weed as manchildren thugs.

I'm going to marry Juri and you're going to give me your blessing because I bought your shitty game.

Just like how CVS2 was, too. With Alpha 3 sprites and VSav sprites for Morrigan.

thats what you think, nigger

Dude, Vampire was nothing, but pure laziness when you think about it.

Blessing denied No blacks allowed

...

Did I say that?
Next step, you're gonna say that every 3D fighting games are half-assed, because they just re-use the same animations from games to games for their characters.

I know I'm replying to an old post but
Arcades ain't that big in the west anymore.
t. argie, arcades got killed except for racing games and on-rail shooters, everything else is either cranes or mobileshit ports

3D fighters use different engines. They don't really count compared to 2d fighters. Only MK: DA, MK: Deception, and MKA were half-assed 3d fighters.

But come on, look at the DS games. Everyone after the original was half-assed to some extent including Vampire Savior. All they did for Night Warriors/Vampire Hunter was give red hues to the stages, which made most of them look really fugly. Even Savior used some old stages.

The west is good at fighting game, but if wonder why the scene isn't bigger, why smaller games aren't played more and why on a lot of FGs, we just can't beat japanese and korean players:

What's an argie?

I'm just sad that we didn't have any "perfect edition" in arcades.
One that had a last rebalance patch and had all the characters from the series.
Like VSav 1+2 or VSav + Donovan, Pyron and Phobos.

But even with that, is Alpha 3 half-assed because of that? Is 3S half-assed? MVC2? Do the devs have to redo everything from scratch to have a real and good game?

No, Alpha 3 and 3S had some effort put into them (Especially 3s). MvC2 was kind of half-assed with some missing stuff from past games, yet it still had more effort than Darkstalkers.

Oh yeah, "Why fighting games are just eaten up by e-Sports bullcrap, nowadays", too.
Because the west publishers killed the Arcades.

a non hwite guy from Argentina, user.

Goddamn it.

You can masturbate without playing user

I know, but the feeling of beating someone while looking that good is so good.

...

I wasn't born a yuri user, and reaching Jojo status has been a long road and I'm nowhere near it.

full pleb.

Out.

...

...

Okay this is acceptable.

Even more acceptable.

Well, at least we still have Melee. That's one game the West will never relinquish. Can't play Melee unless you go out and sit next to a guy in front of a CRT and git gud.

And that's pretty much the only game we'll have. Oh and MK too I guess.

Where I'm from, people goes on place to play CVS2, 3S, Breakers Revenge, VSav or 2002UM.
Trust me, we'll be just fine and we'll still use CRTs and gitgudness without Smash.

SF 3d models look absolutely disgusting to me.
Even kof14 blows them out of the water.

Found this channel on youtube
youtube.com/channel/UCMLA0aZ2AbFbumALoBY2ZVw
It looks like it's recordings of people playing at the arcades. Has a whole bunch of different games played at high tier. would recommend

I would love to see a few Soul Calibur guest characters in SamSho and the other way around. Selling off SamSho would obviously be a terrible idea though, I dont ever see that happening.

Do it the old fashioned way and just punch them in the face. It used to be attack > throw > block, techs were unnecessary and served no purpose other than making it even easier for people to turtle.

I'd ask if these idiots know what the fuck task manager is, but the rootkit fiasco makes it pretty clear these morons don't know much.

They're not the only morons on this case, fam.

...

I asked this in the tekken thread on /fighters/, but i'll ask again here:
Is Ganryu a good character for a beginner? I tried Tekken 3D Prime Edition recently, and Ganryu was the character i like the most out of the few i've tried so far. Anyone have any advice using Ganryu?

Wasn't croagunk already in the game as a support?

Does anyone know if Killer Instinct's issues with fightsticks has been fixed yet?

He was. Now you can have four Croagunks on screen at once.

New Qanba 'Premium' fightstick. No price yet.

new fightan with CVS2 Grooves when.

I recently wanted to replay P4A for fun and I had a fucking blast playing it, is Ultimax still alive? And I don't really need a hugely active playerbase, just one or two lobbies.

Are there any fighting games that, even after a new entry in the series has been released, still has a big playerbase online?

What are some good beginner characters to learn in Tekken?

wow this thread is dead.

I hate that long as fuck op

Hey 8/fighttan/, I went back to using a stick about a year ago because I found a local friend that still plays /fighttan/ seriously. Started on a beat up TE he gave me and bought a Qanba Q4 last year. Going back was really hard after not playing on one for 15 years and begin mostly a console pleb/pad user back in the day.

The other night we were playing sets on SC2 HD when something finally clicked. It was like my fingers and the ball of the stick became one and I feel like using the square gate is finally natural too me now. I've also over come my tendency to mash in the heat of the moment. I feel like after a year I'm finally making progress.

Are there any training techniques I should be doing or other games I could play to get even better? I've been playing SHUMPs, Puzzle Bobble, some platformers like Metal Slug and hybrid stuff like Twinkle Star Sprites. Basically anything that I can play with the stick outside of fighttan has become what I go to for single player fun. I've even taken to playing Super Meat Boy and Mega Man classic games with it even though I'm a lot better with the pad.

What does /fighttan/ do to stay fresh on the stick? Also, any tips for not losing the feel for the stick after many weeks off? I'm a wage slave so I only get a few sets in every month offline. I want to get good enough to start attending tournaments, but they're 1-3 hour drives so I don't want to show up until I'm sure I'm not a total scrub. I can beat up on all the local players now aside from that one friend but I still don't feel like I'd do well.

Eddy, Christie, Lili, Hwoarang, Baek :^)

Seriously though, when I got people into Tekken and taught them some characters I've found that they had the easiest time learning the Mishimas, Paul, Law and Bryan to a decent level. I wasn't much of a T6 player so when TTT2 came around I kinda ignored the new characters from T6, but from what I've heard Lars, Bob and Alisa are also quite easy to learn. Even though Lili is in the masher category she's also really easy to learn apparently.

Not much else I do other than play every day.

Thinking about getting a custom made stick, anyone had one made? Ordering all the parts plus shipping was expensive as fuck last time, and looking at all the awesome custom sticks online has given me a boner for something nicer than the slapped together job I did myself.

I suppose there is no way around it, just have to find more time to play. I'm hoping to at least get a few rounds when I do finally go to a tournament.

I'm thinking about building a few myself. One for me and two for friends. Anyway parts don't look too bad if you order them in bulk. Pick up some basic wood working skills or have someone you know build a case out of whatever material you prefer. I was thinking of going with all wood and having someone burn some artwork into it for me.

I can't be of much help beyond that but when I do finally find the time to build mine I'll come back to the thread. I'm going to throw one together at the end of the month for sure.

Do you guys have any tips for training with friends that aren't on your level yet? I gifted a friend a stick and we've been playing a lot of SC2/SCV, KoF, and SF4. The problem is I'm better than him and he keeps getting discouraged about the lop sided w/l ratio. He can pick up rounds but he has a hard time adapting to sets of 3/5.

I feel like handicapping myself would just hurt him. I give him advice and encouragement, I'm not mining any salt. He's getting better so the sets we play are working, I feel like he could beat most people now but not anyone in our regular group.

I've been trying some characters, such as Asuka, Ganryu, Lili, and Jack-6, and Jack-6 was the one I could pick up the easiest. Should I just play him?

I feel the same way with my brother. I learned by playing this guy online and having him beat me 100 - 0 every time we played, but now I can get one in 3 off him regularly.

You just have to go hardcore on him, and he he can't handle it then he wont be fit for it. You can't go easier or lose rounds on purpose because that will kill any genuine drive he has. I beat my brother most of the time, but he got better because he genuinely wanted to beat me, and so he HAD to get better.

Only advice I would say is to make sure you talk about what is working and what isn't. Sometimes it's easy to repeat mistakes without realising you are doing it.

Just pick someone up and learn them. Once you know that character you can pick up on other ones. You're the only one that can pick your main. Just do what feels right don't rely on the tier list or anything. If you think your main is weak you can always move on to someone else.

I pretty much do the same thing. I don't go easy on him but sometimes I'll switch it up and toy with him. He was bad about teching grabs for the longest time so I used to just walk up and throw him a lot. Now he's wise to it but he has other bad habits.

I adapt and try to do this to every body but with that one friend it's different. I try not to be an ass about it. I'm trying to get him to the point where he can do these things to me because I know I have bad habits too.

I record our sets and watch them later. I tried to get him into doing that but he doesn't like watching himself lose. I don't really blame him.

...

What game?

Yes, if you feel that he caters to your playstyle I suggest you should learn him to a decent level, by that I mean that you know all the safe launchers, know how to do a good juggle from each launcher and know the basic way of playing Jack (set-ups, mix-ups, oki and all that shit). Once you master that (shouldn't be really too long until you get to the point of being decent) you can try out another character if you wish and see if there's one which caters to your playstyle more than Jack (though if you like Jack because he's a big guy doing big moves your only two similar options really are Ganryu or Kuma/Panda) or you can just stick with Jack.

Now since it's Jack-6 and you only mentioned him and not a tag partner I guess you're playing Tekken 6. Tekken 6 is balanced enough (not as much as Dark Resurrection though), I think it's the second most balanced Tekken, but take that with a grain of salt since I never got into 6 so I don't know firsthand if this is the case. The only character which is don't bother-tier is Zafina, now I was never a tierwhore, it's by stroke of luck that Lei is high tier in Dark Resurrection since he was usually either higher mid or lower tier and I've played with him ever since Tekken 2 when I didn't know that tier lists were even a thing, but tiers shouldn't really concern you in Tekken 6, just go with whichever character that feels most comfortable to play for you.

Lastly, if you feel that you want to continue playing Tekken, before doing anything else you should consider learning the game's system inside and out (if you haven't already). This is crucial since this is the base upon which you cannot play to a higher than decent level with any character. I think the best place for finding about that is tekkenzaibatsu, however if you have a specific question about the game's system you can ask here and someone's bound to answer it.

If by "had one made" you mean pieced together myself with custom parts, then yes. I've posted it ITT a handful of times, but here's the handful +1. Foehammer case, Sanwa buttons, and Hori square-gate Hayabusa. Total with shipping was right around 300 burger bux. gonna repaint the case and change the artwork later this year, I think
True, but still cheaper than paying someone else to construct it. A cheaper method would be to buy a relatively cheap but common stick and swap parts/artwork. Hell, the stick I had before this one was an old SCIV xbox stick that I picked up used game shop for like $60 and just swapped artwork on it .

>mfw I'm doing it and having fun
you can only eat shit for so long before the taste and smell stop bothering you, I guess.

Soul Calibur 5 we like it despite the hate it gets. I've pushed him to move on to other stuff though, we have played a little SF4. I'm trying to get him to play more SNK stuff with me, especially Garou. He's a weeb so he likes all the anime games.

Strangely he is really good at TvC using the pad. I main Roll and mix up my secondary so that might have something to do with it but he's good enough that I got frustrated. I wish that game still had online play it'd probably be the best one for him to grind and get good.

Through the powers of Dolphin, doesn't it have rudimentary online?

Yea I could emulate but I have both version on the console. I softmodded it a long time ago so I haven't really messed with dolphin much.

Is the online good? I never got the lan adapter for the Wii so playing online was always a lag fest. I configured the network to get it as good as I could but everyone I connected to must have been playing on public wifi or something.

How many of you guys are on fightcade? Anyone want to organize regular sets? I don't really care what we play, I prefer SNK games but I'll play anything.

Not /fightan/ but if you're on there and a fan of Twinkle Star Sprites let me know. I always have a hard time getting anyone into that lobby.

Online should be decent. It's not GGPO but it werks for most people. I haven't tried because my internet is awful.

Neo Turf Masters, here we come. This would be nice to set up regular matches, if only my internet weren't shit.

the 8/v/ FGC group on steam has a few tournaments every weekend.

Actually I've only been fucking around in Tekken 3D on 3DS. I haven't played any tekken games besides 3 in an arcade, and I didn't know shit about how to play tekken. I just wanted to get a feel for each character, and see which ones I might like.

No matter, in whichever case it's best to just try out every character and stick with one you enjoy playing.

What's the best PS2 controller adapter for PC? I got a virtua fighter 4 fightstick at a flea market today for 5 bucks.

Everyone seems to swear by this one now:

amazon.com/MAYFLASH-Magic-Joy-Box-Pc/dp/B000ND3XXA

I have an old adapter from China that works like the Mayflash. You can pick those up for like $5 if you find them at a flea market or game shop.

The savior of the genre is here guys. We don't have to play other fighting games anymore.

Thanks friend.

What is it with pro fighting game players being shit at actually making fighting games?
More casual than Smash. Great job.

They understand the game at a high level that hard to obtain. When you're at that level that competition is thin and you end up playing the same people over and over again. It gets boring so they attempt to bring newbies into the circle but you have to spend a lot of time teaching them the advanced stuff and they might never develop the skills to play against you.

So eventually they start picking apart the game to figure out ways to make it more newbie friendly. This always leads to making it more casual and takes away the thing that makes it interesting to play/watch at the high level. You're basically reducing it to button mashing. A high level player will probably still win in such a game versus a mid-level player but the mid-level player will pick up rounds. The mid-level player ends up never developing his skills beyond what they are now because he doesn't have too.

Fighting games are supposed to be hard to learn and even harder to master. If normalfags put as much time into them as they do modern FPS trash they would git good in no time. The controls are just so foreign to them (even more so with a stick) so most don't try or they play it casually with low level players and button mash. I know people that have played street fighter for years that can't even throw fireballs with Ryu who get amazed when they see someone that can throw them whenever they want too.

I'm not on that guys level in /fightan/ but I have been at the highest level of some games. I played with the best in the world on L4D1 for years. We had the same problems; always playing the same people/teams. Once you run through every body it just gets boring.

Also, these guys are doing this with good intentions. A lot of people want to capture the feeling of the arcades in the 90s/early 2000s but we'll never go back to that. Online can't replicate that time/place and normalfags do go to the arcades anymore. The world moved on but oldfags can't accept that.

I miss camping machines at the arcades too but that's just how it is. The arcade I go to now doesn't even require coins, everything is free play and you just pay a flat rate for an hour/day. Problem is no one steps outside their group to play anyone else so if you go a lone you just end up playing the CPU or getting one or two fights with someone that will get salty and refuse to play anymore. I've tried and tried to be social with people there but no one wants to get exposed. It pisses me off because I know some of them could bop me but they're too afraid to even step up.

How is anyone going to git good in an environment like that? Plus most of the floor space is dedicated to Smash faggots. I don't really look down on Smash and I play it casually but I hate it when I can't even get to the machine I want to play because they're yelling and freaking out like it's EVO every time someone gets KOed.

*don't go to the arcades.

Sorry, doing a bunch of things on this end. Need to start proof reading posts before I hit reply.

Jesus Christ, if I made my dream fightan it would be such an overcomplicated mess with so many systems and systems within systems that it would even make my fucking head spin and since Virtua Fighter is my jam and one of the three fightan series I bothered to get really competent in, I'd make it similar to that. So basically, imagine Virtua Fighter, but with an even higher skill ceiling to even learn the game. Then again, I always had an extremely elitist mindset when it came to fighting games, still didn't stop me from tutoring any of my normalfag-tier friends who were interested in trying out Tekken or Guilty Gear because they wanted to do the same cool shit I do, even though I'd consider myself a mediocre player in both.

While I'm blog posting I want to point out something else. The smash community might be annoying as hell but at least they stick together and show up. A lot of people complain about them taking over every major tournament but what can you do when they draw so many players and spectators.

Smash faggots and oldfags don't get a lot even though they're so similar. They just have different cultures. The culture of the oldfags was born in the dark arcades where you might get stabbed for beating someone at KoF98. The smash community was born out of bedrooms and dorm rooms and safe spaces. That's why their skin isn't at thick at the oldfags.

Lots of people talk about how they played in the arcades like it gives them some type of street cred. The truth is most of them played MvC2 one time at Wal-Mart. They are posers that know nothing of the culture and they are easy to pick out once you talk to them for awhile.

Playing in the old days doesn't mean you're good at all. I lived in the arcades for my entire child hood, we used to stay at the mall all day and regularly dropped $10-$20 in the book store next to the arcade to get magazines/guides with the move set. You'd play a console port of the game you liked (if you were lucky) and practice at home on a pad. Then you'd go to the arcade and find out that combo you'd spent all week perfecting didn't work because the home port wasn't done right or had small changes in it. So you'd spend $5 or $10 in there learning it all over again. There was no training mode so you had to do everything against a cheap CPU or a player that might not give you a chance to execute it. It was hard to git good in those days and most people never did.

It was often a seedy place where local gang members met up. You had to show respect to other people because if you ran your mouth there was going to be a fight and the owner wasn't going to do shit about it until someone was on the ground. There was shit talking sure but it wasn't like today where people yell in a mic about how they're going to rape your mother. In the old days if you were an annoying faggot you'd be run out of the place in no time.

If you went out of town or to the city you'd often go to their local mall/arcade. You showed respect to the locals because you were in their house. Usually people got a long fine because every showed respect but brawls between locals and out of towners wasn't uncommon. We had freedom in the arcades, no adults really bothered you so we had the run of the place.

Things change, the world changes, I wish we could go back because we didn't know how good we had it. Plus I want a huge pretzel or maybe a burger from the place that used to be across from the arcade. I wouldn't mind stocking up on No Fear stickers either. No idea why that shit ever got popular.

Maybe Trump will make malls great again.

No even Buckley's baby was this dead at arrival

Also, what are some good stories about fighting? I've been reading Kenichi and i'm in the mood for more resolving differences through violence

Dude tell me about it, I remember shortly after the local library allowed public internet access (for a fee). I searched about fightan-related shit and I remember reading a FAQ about how to trash-talk in arcades and it was the most bizarre shit I've ever read because here if you even dared to perfect someone it most likely meant that the other guy will get so pissed off that if you don't let him win the next round he'll beat the everlasting crap out of you and if you're lucky he won't call his cousins who were playing Initial D Arcade Stage or whatever in the other part of the arcade to assist him in stomping your ass to the ground. I don't even imagine what would happen if you actually trash-talked somebody, you'd probably pay for a one-way ticket to the cemetery. Hell, when I visited an arcade when I was visiting the US it was an even worse atmosphere. In my country arcades were smoking-free areas, but when I entered an arcade in the US I swear I'd gotten lung cancer right there and then and the smoke was so thick I couldn't even tell apart arcade machines unless I stuck my nose right in front of them.

However, we were also kinda lucky in the sense that we didn't have to buy any strategy guides to get movelists, but we'd all know a guy who went to college and told him to go find some movelists and print them out since they had free internet access back then.

This isn't just some pro player we're talking about. This is DAVID MOTHERFUCKING SIRLIN. The MASTER who cracked the practical implementation of high level Rose low strong spam. The GENIUS behind SSF2T HDR, and that card game I can't remember the name of, and that other card game I can't remember the name of. And YOMI. Where would we be without YOMI? Oh shit, that was actually what he named one of the games, I remember now.
The sad thing is that he has without a doubt the best record among such people

I miss the smoking in the pool halls and arcades, I understand the complaint from people that don't smoke but it was just great to be able to do that. I miss begin able to have a cigarette and my cup of coffee after I eat breakfast too. My state eventually passed the ban but we held out until 2005 or so.

People would stomp your ass if they didn't know you and everyone had a crew. Usually there was only one adult around (the owner) and he was always chilling in the back room. So the big kids basically ran the place and the peaking order was known by all. You could shit talk a little if you knew a person well or you had a little rivalry going but you always made sure they knew it was friendly. If you were a problem you got excluded and eventually run out of the place.

When we first got internet in my town /fightan/ guides was the first thing I looked up too. I was really into Mortal Kombat in those days, I'm still really good at UMK3 and I play it with a pad. A lot of people hate on MK and but it got me into /fightan/ so I still love it. The new ones aren't my thing though.

I would get guides for games and have a subscription to Gamepro. I always had use of a copying machine because of my family ran a printing shop. I'd make tons of copies of the guides and give them away to other kids at school and the arcade. I was a bit autistic about it but people did appreciate it.

Are you from Europe?

Yes, Eastern Europe. My town is actually particulary fortunate since it was basically the only town of that small a size with an arcade since the owner knew it was a great investment because kids loved to part with their money to play videogames competitively since it's way more fun than stomping your idiot little brother's ass on your Playstation all day.

Before he opened the arcade in '99 the only other time you could play arcade cabinets in our town is at the summer fair when they'd get some arcade machines for the few days the fair lasted. This is where he got the idea of opening an arcade because he saw shittons of kids stumbling over each other to go play either Metal Slug, Tekken 3, SF2 (don't remember which version exactly) or Initial D Arcade Stage. There were a few more, but the ones I mentioned raked in the most cash, so those were the kind of games he mostly had at his arcade, either fightans, shmups or driving games.

However, in recent years arcades really aren't a thing anymore because all the kiddies don't like real competition and would rather play AssCreed on their XBox so he closed up shop. Fortunately, the town bought the building it was in and decided to make it into a "culture center", basically the idea behind it was to make the youth in our town do fun "cultural" shit in this building like organize concerts or whatever so they have something to do. Of course, when me and all the old arcade crew found out that the town had open suggestions for what the building was used for, we managed to get a room to be a 24/7 fightan arcade and we still organize local tourneys to this day. It's also much less cutthroat and relaxed compared to ye olde days and we're open to teaching newcomers in any game they're interested in. Unless you're an asshole you won't get sent to the morgue.

good luck trying to react to it but still

also that fantasy strike thing might be alright amongst casual players but the thing about having bullshit mechanics is that they can be fun, and pokken is a good example of it while keeping most of the simplicity that fantasy strike seems to be going for

I love how this is a common thing in SFV (Nash's moonsault and Birdie's dolphin dive) and yet Im sure this will get spun as Juri just being bad. Regardless, Im perfectly happy beating ass with a "low tier" character.

Giving Ryu a fake fireball was the dumbest decision I think anyone could have done. Making fireball spam even more powerful in a game that had pitifully few options to get around it is just unbelievable. Giving Guile an overhead was pretty sweet though, I wish that was in the vanilla game.

Just let him know that there is nothing wrong with losing as long as he learns from it. Everybody loses, it's inevitable, no one is perfect, it's not worth getting butthurt about. I would suggest recording your matches, then watching them together and having you narrate it, showing him what he got wrong (You did this move every time I did this so I knew how to counter properly, etc). It may sound weird but losing can actually be a good thing. What is really frustrating is that fear of losing is the #1 thing that turns alot of people off to fighting games, yet it really isn't a big deal at all so long as you make the most out of it.

Goddamn it pisses me off how much they fucked my waifu and this game in general.

I've been watching a lot of UMvC3 lately, top 8s and what not from the last months or so. I really like the diversity of the cast and a lot of people are keeping the game really hype. Kind of sad I never got into. Shit just seemed DoA cause of typical capcom fuckery, so I hadn't paid any attention to it.

Attacks beating out throws was something that was established decades ago yet Capcom can't even get something so basic done properly. Thank God for SNK, holy shit.

I keep saying it man, SFV has proven Capcom doesn't know what the hell they're doing. Yet every time I criticize it, Capcucks respond with "git gud lol".

What are some of the best videos of people getting mad at fighting games?

Watching together is a good idea, thanks user. I've been recording all the matches we have and uploading them to youtube (I set them to private). I've been giving him the links to watch but I haven't been pointing out flaws in our play. Next time he comes over I'll do this.

SFV pisses me off so much. We've been playing it since release and no one really likes it. The way you have to play is so restrictive, every match boils down to:

There is just no variety in linking moves together. It favors just going for a standard combo and staying on offence for the entire round. It really screws up my play style because I like to play footsies/defense and read the other guy. Once I've danced around for a bit I start baiting out stuff and punishing it. I can do this in every other game but it just doesn't work well in SFV. I've had to adopt the same play style everyone else did.

I understand they were trying to make it newbie friendly but they went too far. Other than that the game just feels like a lazy effort. We're almost on year 2 and hair is still clipping through costumes.

We gave up on it. I still watch CPT but we've gone back to SF4 when it comes to capcom stuff. I don't even want SFV on my PC anymore since they added the rootkit.

...

I love how SNK games work when it comes to beating out attacks/throws. Every time I beat out a super with a jab poke I get that warm fuzzy feeling inside. All that meter wasted. They got it just about perfect in Garou.

I agree my god. Gone are the days of Hugo hype, or Oni comeback hype, or any kind of hype in general. It's boring to play, it's boring to watch, and I can't even fathom why people defend it like their life depends on it.

...

At the very least I'm getting some sick combos with Rachel down more. Working on a bunch of different confirms.

Man Juri fucking sucks in SFV though I guess I don't care too much as I've just gone back to playing USF4 and A3 for my street fighter fix.

Fuck I love Garou so much it's just so fun to play. Just defend option selecting jump-ins or JD guard cancelling into anti-air, feint cancel combos, negating inputs with the button hierarchy to buffer super motions for jab supers it's all so exciting.

I prefer the video of LTG getting pissy to MKX.

I hope when they get to it they added all the scrapped characters and a few aged Art of Fighting characters

Christ.

One of the things I love about Melee and other games of the era is how the technological restrictions forced developers to have a solution that looked good rather than just throwing TressFX at it. Marth's cape and Peach & Zelda's hair have aged better than Necali's hair, Laura's hair, and Mika's ponytails ever will.

Do we know if the airplane stage coming up for SFV will have real wind effects like some Melee stages? I'd love to see Necali's stupid dreadlocks freaking the fuck out.

Wait will there be a garou 2? source?

Just look up interviews with people from SNK since they've started their revival namely the 4gamer interview; They know that Garou 2 is easily one of their most request games to be made and they started giving out more info on the original scarped game. Oda also really wants to do it and brings it up all the time. Nothing is outright confirmed since SNK employees are still debating on what game they tackle next, but now is the closest we've ever been to getting a sequel.

A new Samurai Shodown and Metal Slug are also up their high on their list for revival.

it looks like it was more about confirming that i was gonna happen in 2005, but they gave up and decided to give out the information now. I don't think that means its gonna get made, especially when you spoil every character that was gonna be added. Also I doubt any big company wants to deal with sprites anymore

Well it's not like SNK really cares about spoilers after KoF XIV's roster got leaked a few weeks after the announcement. The hype for XIV's roster still got built up despite being leaked because there still wasn't gameplay video for them, even after the concept roster image leak there was still hype. Plus they could always just go in a completely different direction for it then what they originally planned.

Also the chick in the orange pants already got subtly introduced way back in some character profile description for Joe.

Yeah, it's kinda obvious that it wouldn't have sprites. SNK doesn't have the money, that's why pleasing fans is so important for them right now and what better way to please fans is by making the games they been crying for the past decade.

Plus I'm pretty sure why Garou is getting a PS4/Vita port and why Just Defend got added into KoF; they know they'll eventually have to do it so they're getting people prepared.

Decided to look at the Fantasy Strike guide page. There's some interesting ideas but I think David should just stick to his niche tabletop games.

tits though

...

I wonder if SNK is going to bring back SamSho now that they aren't in pachinko hell anymore.

At least we got KoF13 before SNK decided to stop using sprites.

It's gonna be the next fighting game series to get a PS4/Vita port that's for sure at least.

As much as KoF13 was beautiful, the sprites really hurt characters' moves sets and designs.

Should I get a controller, or just stick with keyboard? I used to play a bit of MvC3, and SF4 on xbox before selling it to fund my PC, but now I kinda want to get back into fighters. What's popular/active on PC right now by the by?

Depends on you user, the keyboard will give you cleaner inputs but if you're used to a pad it might be the way to go. If you're thinking about a stick in the future now might be a good time to buy one since it takes awhile to adjust.

Thanks for the info user; I'll look into a pad and stick.

My buddy mains Hugo and I main Rose. When we pull out the mains it's always a hype match, those two characters just match up so well. Once we managed to trade normals at full screen with those two, it was so weird looking we pulled up frame data to find out how the fuck it even happened.

Oh god, I wish…
If it can be as speedy as a KoF, it'll be dreamy. CVS2 had long rounds and was kinda boring.
Less grooves but more options on it would be nice.

Dolphin Netplay and the entire emulator was optimized to run Melee. Not the other games.
Because of that, GC emulation is so-so, depending the game you run.

Go to InfiniteFGC Discord.

You'd rather prefer producers that doesn't know shit about what a fighting game need to be good?

I'm in Paris. For the RBKumite, Xiao Hai came to see the french KOF community. The guy destroyed some good KOF players by just using B.
It's never about the numbers, kid.

I'll be never used to watch wisdom in Holla Forums.
Thanks for that, user. The arcade era needs to comeback in the west.

You really should play Skullgirls.
I wanted to learn MVC3, too. Turns out SG is a better Marvel than Marvel.
At least, for me. For Holla Forums, the game's garbage because muh resets and muh deviant-tumblr char design.
So, the choice is yours.

Yeah I've bought 'cheap' fightsticks and put better parts inside, but unfortunately being in Australia means even the cheap ones are several hundred dollars, and then shipping parts costs about the same. If I am going to spend a few hundred on shit then I might as well spend a few more for something nice.

But the original plan was to buy a case and fill it with parts. How easy was getting your custom art onto the foehammer case? How did you mount the PCB in it?

1v1 skullgirls is really fun, gets too messy for me with teams as I've never been a big Marvel fan

how? I know clark looks way bigger but how did the sprites' style themselves do?

They're so expensive to make it means they couldn't afford large movesets

Too bad. Team v Team is where the interesting part is.
I do more Solo matches right now than Team ones, because I prefer playing Solo against other Solos and the people I play also starts the game.
I already have a Duo, but in the end, I'm aiming for a Trio.

What's your excuse for not doing the same?

They fucking stole Evil Ryu's Ultra 2

Same guy different ID Foehammer sends a template in an email after the case is ordered. After that, its just a matter of getting/making the artwork and printing it. I personally just went to OfficeMax and had them print it, since my printer isnt big enough, and it only cost around a dollar for the full color print. If you use the template they give, it'll fit perfectly.

The PCB was a bit tricky, since the case didnt have a mount for it and Im not keen on it just floating around in there. So I just put two screws to hold it in place in the underside corner. Its not the most secure thing, but it keeps it from flipping around if I carry it with me somewhere.

The only real issue I had with the case was that, because the day I sat down to put it together was a humid summer day, the wood swelled up and the plexiglass cover over the artwork had a hard time fitting. But a short stay next to a dehumidifier sorted that out quickly.

I wanna do exactly the same.
There's one fighting game only on Linux.

Thanks for the info. I like the look of them but it turns out they don't ship here anyway.

Savior of fighting games has arrived

Maybe that's why SNK will be at PSX in December

would rather see panzer dragoon come back.

...

God damn. I want to see more than one Sega game make a comeback.

Psst
You can submit the survey multiple times

Brilliant.

I'd like to see the full video on this.

Anyone ever played pic related? I pulled it out as a joke a few times when I had people come over to play TvC. One of the worst fightans I've ever played.

embedding game play for anons that don't know about it/lazy anons. Trust me it isn't even worth you time to look for another video.

Neat. Since Rising Thunder is kill, this will be interesting. I like Sirlin's boardgames, and as a scrub, I was okay with SSF2THD aside from the fucking awful loading times. Honestly though, Rising Thunder had a far better way of dumbing down inputs, because you still had crouches and other things. Shame people were too fucking pleb to understand how cool giant robots fighting was. Even Pocket Rumble is a bit more natural than this. Trajes Fatais at least has crouching.

It's this shit right here. This is what does it for me. I was tempted to actually try and treat SFV like I did Starcraft 2 before HotS came and fucked it all up. Sit down, practice builds (or in this case combos/footsies), and really try to get good and improve. Then I see this and it just puts the nail in the coffin for me. Capcom has no fucking clue what they're doing.

That's rough, however there's also Tek Innovations and Marvelous Customs, both sell either wood or plastic cases if I remember correctly. Not sure on shipping restrictions, but they'd be worth a shot I figure.

I put Lemres, fite me.

...

to be fair should you really be doing a raw spin?
