There's something systematically wrong with every souls game
DeS has a shit inventory
DaS has a shit upgrade system and everything that is from designated shitting cave onward is poorly designed as fuck
DaS2 is broken as shit in every way, a few of those being dual power stance and fall damage on top of the thing that is wrong with all the souls games, which is tanks with nuclear warheads for fists
Bloodborne has an easy as shit parry system, which is a problem in all of them, but in BB it fucks it up further by making it possible to parry from a long distance and with a wider spread, not requiring the close quarters tradeoff of parries. Also maneuverability is how it really should be for characters in full suits of armor, stepping and weaving instead of rolling on your face, but the I frames make it a joke
DaS3 has small areas, the enemies have BB maneuverability but you have dark souls maneuverability. PVP sucks shit, about 1/3 of the bosses are gimmick or add bosses, and of that there are only 19 bosses in the game, one being a repeat, one being a stage battle, one having two parts where the can be considered two different bosses, the first phase being a straight gimmick and the other half being a head on fight, and another that is also that exactly except with adds, and I only won't count it because it's still a straight on fight for the most part.
I really did just go on a rant about DaS 3's shit more than the others, but they are all just as bad if I actually were to disect them. And actually, DaS 3 is the only one to get NG+ right; enemies don't become super battle death tanks with nuclear strike capability. They become a little bit stronger, and they do a bit more damage, and enemies in the game already deal a fuck ton of damage, but whatever, when you're 101 you can slice through mostly any mob with anything you pulled out of NG. That and they have new item placements, names, and some relocated, buffed rings.
PVP is shit, but that's not the only problem with the game. On top of what I stated above, the starter classes are pretty shite; Knight is your quality builder instead of being a tank, warrior is the only class to play if you're not a baby and don't want to be hand held through the first 5 hours by knight being overpowered as shit, herald is a cleric that doesn't know what the fuck he's doing, even from a role playing perspective, theif is okay I guess, stays true to Dark Souls, mage, cleric and pyromancer are okay I guess, pyro is what you choose for quality magic builds but even still it's fine, deprived is now the lvl 1 class, but it's worthless because that means you have wasted points, which isn't really a thing, but you can start off with literally every other character, even herald, and pour stats into anything and you'll be as well off as deprived and you'll get starting armor. Deprived is good for testing though, I'm fine with that at least. Then there's estoc man, who is only for faggots who really want to suck huge cocks.
I always lean towards clerics because the role play is too good for me as holy man with holy plan. Even without miracles, lightning infusion as a cleric makes you feel like a paladin in seconds, and sunlight blade mixed with any black infusion will invoke those same feelings with upwards of 800 AR.
